A blood glucose monitoring and controlling system includes a detecting device and a liquid supplying device. The detecting device includes a first microneedle patch, a liquid pumping actuator, a sensor and a monitoring and controlling chip. The liquid supplying device includes a second microneedle patch, a liquid supplying actuator, a liquid supplying chamber and a liquid supplying and controlling chip. The detecting device is used to measure the blood glucose level of the user, and the liquid supplying device is used to supply insulin liquid. While the detecting device measures that the blood glucose level of the user is abnormal, the liquid supplying device is actuated to inject the insulin liquid into the user's body, thereby stabilizing the user's blood glucose level constantly.

Blood glucose monitoring and controlling system

A micro fluid actuator includes an orifice layer, a flow channel layer, a substrate, a chamber layer, a vibration layer, a lower electrode layer, a piezoelectric actuation layer and an upper electrode layer, which are stacked sequentially. An outflow aperture, a plurality of first inflow apertures and a second inflow aperture are formed in the substrate by an etching process. A storage chamber is formed in the chamber layer by the etching process. An outflow opening and an inflow opening are formed in the orifice layer by the etching process. An outflow channel, an inflow channel and a plurality of columnar structures are formed in the flow channel layer by a lithography process. By providing driving power which have different phases to the upper electrode layer and the lower electrode layer, the vibration layer is driven to displace in a reciprocating manner, so as to achieve fluid transportation.

Micro fluid actuator

A power driver of an unmanned aerial vehicle is disclosed and includes a main body, a fluid actuation system and a controller, wherein the fluid actuation system includes a driving zone, a converging chamber, a plurality of valves and a fluid discharging zone. The driving zone includes a plurality of flow guiding units which arranged in series, parallel or series-parallel, each of the flow guiding unit generates an inside pressure gradient after being actuated, so as to inhale fluid and diverge fluid by guiding channels, and flow into the convergence chamber for storage, wherein the amount of the fluid transported is controlled by the plurality of valves disposed in the connection channels through the controller, and fluid is finally converged to the fluid discharging zone for discharging the specific transportation amount of fluid.

Power driver of unmanned aerial vehicle

A method of air quality notification is disclosed. The method includes steps of providing a portable air quality monitoring device for monitoring air quality. The portable air quality monitoring device monitors the ambient air quality at a location in a monitoring period of time to generate a monitoring data, and has a GPS component to generate a position data of the location, both of them can be integrated as a notification data and delivered. A cloud data processing device is provided for receiving the notification data delivered from the portable air quality monitoring device, wherein the notification data is processed, calculated and converted to generate a push data, and the push data is delivered at a push period through a push notification service. A notification receiving device is provided for receiving the push data delivered from the cloud data processing device, so as to display the push data immediately.

Method of air quality notification

A device includes a main body and at least one actuating and sensing module. A length of the main body is 5&#x2dc;40 mm. A width of the main body is 5&#x2dc;27 mm. A height of the main body is 2&#x2dc;10 mm. The actuating and sensing module is disposed in the main body. The actuating and sensing module includes a carrier, at least one sensor, at least one actuating device, a driving and transmitting controller and a battery. The sensor, the actuating device, the driving and transmitting controller and the battery are disposed on the carrier. The actuating device is disposed on one side of the sensor. The actuating device includes at least one guiding channel. The actuating device is enabled to transport fluid to flow toward the sensor through the guiding channel so as to make the fluid measured by the sensor.

Device having actuating and sensing module

A micro detecting device includes a flying main body, at least one fluid actuation system, an image capture system and a controller. The fluid actuation system is disposed within the flying main body and includes a driving module, a flow guiding channel, a convergence chamber, plural valves and a fluid discharging zone. The driving module is consisting of plural flow guiding units for transporting fluid. The flow guiding channel includes plural diverge channels which are in fluid communication with plural connection channels. The convergence chamber is in fluid communication between the corresponding diverge channels. The valves are respectively disposed in the corresponding connection channels and controlled in open/closed state for the corresponding connection channels. The fluid discharging zone is in communication with the connection channels. The image capture system is used to capture external image. The controller is connected to the valves to control the valves in the open/closed state.

Micro detecting device

A blood glucose detection device includes a carrier body, a flow-guiding actuator, a microneedle patch, a sensor and a controlling chip. The carrier body has a liquid guiding channel, a compressing chamber and a liquid storage chamber. The flow-guiding actuator seals the compressing chamber. The microneedle patch is attached on the carrier body and has plural hollow microneedles. The sensor is disposed within the liquid storage chamber. The controlling chip is disposed on the carrier body. The plural hollow microneedles puncture the skin of a human subject with minimal invasion. The controlling chip controls the flow-guiding actuator to actuate and the tissue fluid is sucked into the liquid storage chamber through the plural hollow microneedles, whereby the sensor detects the blood glucose of the tissue fluid to generate and transmit the measured data to the controlling chip. The controlling chip can generate monitoring information by calculating the measured data.

Blood glucose detection device

A wearable blood pressure measuring device includes a strap structure, a micro gas pump and a pressure sensor. The strap structure is adapted to be worn by a user and has an outer surface and an inner surface. The micro gas pump is disposed on the strap structure. The pressure sensor is combined with the micro gas pump through an elastic medium, disposed on the inner surface of the strap structure and in contact with skin of the user for monitoring blood pressure. The micro gas pump is operated to drive gas, wherein the gas is transported into the elastic medium to inflate the elastic medium with the gas. The expanded elastic medium pushes the pressure sensor to press against the skin of the user for facilitating measurement of a blood pressure of a target artery by a flattening and scanning operation.

A driving system for an actuating and sensing module includes an actuating and sensing device and a power supply device. The actuating and sensing device includes a sensor, an actuating device, a microprocessor, and a power controller. The power supply device transfers an energy to the power controller, thereby enabling the sensor and the actuating device.

Driving system for actuating and sensing module

An actuating-type gas guiding device includes a main body and a piezoelectric actuator. The piezoelectric actuator is disposed in the main body. The piezoelectric actuator includes a suspension plate, an outer frame, at least one bracket and a piezoelectric element. The suspension plate has a first surface and a second surface. The suspension plate is permitted to undergo a bending vibration. The outer frame is arranged around the suspension plate. The at least one bracket is connected between the suspension plate and the outer frame for elastically supporting the suspension plate. The piezoelectric element is attached on the first surface of the suspension plate. In response to a voltage applied to the piezoelectric element, the suspension plate is driven to undergo the bending vibration in a reciprocating manner. Consequently, gas is guided to flow in the main body along a non-scattered linear direction.

Actuating-type gas guiding device

An air quality notification device includes an actuating and sensing module and a first communication module. The actuating and sensing module includes a sensor and an actuating device. The sensor is disposed near the actuating device and senses air transmitted by the actuating device to generate air quality information. The first communication module is electrically connected to the actuating and sensing module to receive and transmit the air quality information.

Air quality notification device

A fluid system includes a fluid active region, a fluid channel, a convergence chamber and plural valves. The fluid active region includes one or plural fluid-guiding units. Each fluid-guiding unit includes an inlet plate, a substrate, a resonance plate, an actuating plate, a piezoelectric element and an outlet plate, which are stacked sequentially. The piezoelectric element is attached on the actuating plate. When the piezoelectric element drives a bending resonance of the actuating plate, the fluid is transported into the fluid-guiding units and pressurized to be discharged out. The fluid channel includes plural branch channels. The fluid discharged from the fluid active region is split by the branch channels. The convergence chamber is in communication with the fluid channel. The valves are disposed in the branch channels. The fluid is transported through the branch channels according to the open/closed states of the valves.

Fluid system

A micro fluid actuator includes a first substrate, a chamber layer, a vibration layer, a first metal layer, a piezoelectric actuation layer, a second metal layer, a second substrate, an inlet layer, a resonance layer and an aperture array plate. The first substrate includes a plurality of first outflow apertures and a plurality of second outflow apertures. The chamber layer includes a storage chamber. The second metal layer includes an upper electrode pad and a lower electrode pad. While driving power having different phase charges is provided to the upper electrode pad and the lower electrode pad to drive and control the vibration layer to displace in a reciprocating manner, the fluid is inhaled from the exterior through the inlet layer, converged to the storage chamber, compressed and pushes out the aperture array plate, and then is discharged out from the micro fluid actuator to achieve fluid transportation.

A portable air cleaning apparatus includes a housing, an actuating and sensing device and an air cleaning unit. The housing includes an inlet through hole and an outlet through hole. The actuating and sensing module and the air cleaning unit are disposed inside the housing. The actuating and sensing module includes an actuating device and a sensor. The actuating device drives an external air to flow into an interior of the housing via the inlet through hole and discharge the air via the outlet through hole, so as to form an internal air flow. The sensor detects the internal air flow to generate an air-sensing result, such that the actuating and sensing module can accordingly control the air cleaning unit to turn on, turn off, or adjust cleaning intensity. Thus, the portable air cleaning apparatus can monitor and automatically clean the ambient air at the same time.

Portable air cleaning apparatus

A positive airway pressure apparatus is disclosed and includes a mask, a micro pump and a processor. The mask is fastened on a user's face and is spatially corresponding to an airway opening of the user, so as to form a closed space. The micro pump is assembled with the cover and is in fluid communication with the exterior of the mask. The processor transmits an actuation control signal to the micro pump so as to actuate the micro pump. Consequently, air is transported into the closed space from the exterior of the mask, and a positive pressure airflow is formed and flows into the airway of the user. A pressure sensor is disposed within the closed space to detect the pressure of the closed space, so that the processor can determine the respiratory state of the user and control the air pressure output of the micro pump correspondingly.
