The present disclosure provides a resource allocation method. The resource allocation method includes the following steps: selecting multiple first selected virtual nodes according to multiple virtual pheromonal trails on multiple virtual edges, in which the first selected virtual nodes forms at least one virtual tour, and the virtual tour includes multiple first virtual edges; updating the virtual pheromonal trails on the virtual edges according to virtual distances corresponding to the first virtual edges of the virtual tour; selecting multiple second selected virtual nodes according to the updated virtual pheromonal trails on the virtual edges, in which the second selected virtual nodes form at least one resulting virtual tour; allocating the resource blocks to selected user pairs according to the resulting virtual tour.

A user pairing method is provided. The method includes the following steps: selecting a first uplink user device among the uplink set; selecting a first downlink user device among the downlink set; determining whether the first uplink channel gain corresponding to the first uplink user device is greater than a second uplink channel gain corresponding to the first downlink user device, to generate a first determination result; determining whether a first signal to noise plus interference ratio (SINR) perceived at the first downlink user device is greater than a first SINR threshold, to generate a second determination result; forming the first uplink user device and the first downlink user device as a first user pair in a full duplexing (FD) mode when the first determination result and the second first determination result are positive.

A method for radio frequency chain allocation. The method is utilized in a massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system. Specifically, a hybrid beamforming (HB) system in which the overall beamformer consists of a low-dimensional digital beamformer followed by an analog beamformer utilized the method to allocate RF chains to data streams. The total number of RF chains is not necessarily equal to the number of data streams to users.

A precoding method is provided. The disclosure is directed to a method and apparatus for D2D communication in a wireless communication system and related apparatuses using the same. In one of the exemplary embodiments, a proposed method may include determining whether to performing a D2D transmission and a cellular transmission simultaneously in a resource block allocated in a cellular uplink time slot; if a cellular uplink transmission rate in addition to a D2D transmission rate is greater than or equal to a maximum cellular UL transmission rate: performing the D2D transmission and the cellular transmission simultaneously; and adjusting a power of the D2D transmission and a power of the cellular transmission to maximize an overall transmission rate which is the cellular UL transmission rate in addition to the D2D transmission rate.

Method and apparatus for device to device communication in a wireless communication system and related apparatus using the same

A method of coordination multi-point transmission is provided, which let a plurality of base stations perform communication with at least one access point of a vehicle. A first coordination multi-point set corresponding to a first position of the vehicle is obtained by looking up a database according to the first position. The first coordination multi-point set is a set of a plurality of first coordinated base stations among the plurality of base stations. A first beamforming weighted matrix correspondingly using by each of the plurality of first coordinated base stations is obtained by looking up the database. A coordination multi-point transmission is performed with the at least one access point of the vehicle by the each of the plurality of first coordinated base stations using the corresponding first beamforming weighted matrix of the each of the plurality of first coordinated base stations.

A method of performing feedback load reduction for a mobile device in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises measuring a signal from the network to get Channel State Information (CSI); comparing the measured CSI with at least one threshold and determining one region where the CSI falls in from a plurality of regions divided by the at least one threshold and ranked in order; and sending a rank for the determined region to the network.

A method of reducing an amount of channel information fed back by a mobile device in a wireless communication system to a plurality of transmission points of the wireless communication system is disclosed. the method comprises measuring signal quality between the mobile device and the plurality of transmission points; determining a set of the plurality of transmission points, if the signal quality is in one of a plurality of quality regions; and feeding back the channel information to the set of the plurality of transmission points, wherein the channel information is related to a plurality of channels between the mobile device and the set of the plurality of transmission points.

Method of reducing feedback load and feedback overhead in a multi-cell cooperative network and related communication device

A channel information feedback method adapted in a receiving end of a multiuser multiple input multiple output (MU MIMO) system has following steps. A subspace matrix and a magnitude matrix related to a transmitting end of the MU MIMO system are obtained according to a channel matrix corresponding to the receiving end. A first quantization is performed on the subspace matrix to generate a quantized subspace matrix. A second quantization is performed on an auxiliary information matrix to generate a quantized auxiliary information matrix, where the auxiliary information matrix is corresponding to the magnitude matrix and a residual subspace matrix, and the residual subspace matrix includes residual subspace information after the first quantization is performed on the subspace matrix. The quantized subspace matrix and the quantized auxiliary information matrix are fed back to the transmitting end through an uplink channel.

A multiple input multiple output (MIMO) antenna system, a signal transmission method, a signal transmission apparatus and a computer program product for the MIMO antenna system are provided. The signal transmission method comprises the following steps of transmitting a signal with a first signal transmission mode and a first transmission power via a signal transmission channel; receiving a signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the signal; receiving an interference value of the signal transmission channel; obtaining a power weight value according to the interference value; determining a system threshold of the signal transmission channel to the SNR of the signal; determining a second signal transmission mode of the signal transmission channel based on the system threshold; and determining a second transmission power of the signal transmission channel according to the power weight value.
