An illumination system, including a first light source for providing a first beam; a second light source for providing a second beam; a wavelength conversion element having a reflection region and a conversion region, wherein the reflection region is for reflecting the first beam and the conversion region is for converting the first beam into a third beam; a first light splitting element for allowing the second beam to pass; a second light splitting element for reflecting the first beam penetrated by the first light splitting element and allowing the second beam to pass, wherein the first light splitting element is disposed between the wavelength conversion element and the second light splitting element; and a light homogenizing element for receiving the first beam, the second beam, and the third beam, and generating an illumination beam, is provided. A projection apparatus including the illumination system is also provided.

Illumination system and projection apparatus

A prism element configured to be disposed between an illumination system and a light valve includes a first prism and a second prism. The first side face, the second side face, and the third side face of the first prism are connected in sequence. The incident surface, the emitting surface, and the transmission surface of the second prism are connected in sequence. The incident surface and the third side face are disposed face to face. The angle between the transmission surface and a normal line of the emitting surface is &#xb1;20&#xb0;. After an illumination light provided by the illumination system transmits through the first side face and enters the first prism, the illumination light transmitting through the third side face forms a transmission light. The transmission light enters the second prism from the incident surface and leaves the second prism from the transmission surface. A projection apparatus is also provided.

Prism element and projection apparatus

The present invention provides a lighting system, including at least one light source, a depolarization element and a light homogenization element. The at least one light source is configured to provide at least one light beam. The depolarization element is disposed on a transmission path of the at least one light beam. The depolarization element includes a first optical element, and the first optical element is provided with a first optical axis. The light homogenization element is configured to allow the at least one light beam to pass to form an illuminating light beam. The incident direction where the at least one light beam is transmitted to the first optical element is not parallel to the first light axis. The depolarization element is located between the at least one light source and the light homogenization element. In addition, projection apparatus is also provided.

Lighting system and projection apparatus

An illumination system including an exciting light source module, a wavelength converter and an anisotropic diffusion element is provided. The exciting light source module is configured to emit an exciting beam. The wavelength converter is disposed on a transmission path of the exciting beam. The anisotropic diffusion element is disposed on the transmission path of the exciting beam and is located between the exciting light source module and the wavelength converter. The anisotropic diffusion element allows the passing exciting beam to expand in a light expanding direction, and the light expanding direction is substantially parallel to a fast axis of the exciting beam. A projection apparatus including the illumination system is also provided.

A light source module and a projection apparatus are provided. The light source module includes a blue light source, a red light source, a wavelength conversion wheel and a filter wheel. The blue light source provides a blue light beam. The red light source provides a red light beam. The wavelength conversion wheel is disposed on a transmission path of the blue light beam and has a wavelength conversion region. The blue light beam is converted into a green light beam by the wavelength conversion region. The filter wheel is disposed on transmission paths of the blue light beam and the red light beam. The filter wheel includes a filter region and a diffusion region. A filter spectrum of the filter region includes a first bandwidth and a second bandwidth. The first bandwidth and the second bandwidth are separated with each other.

Light source module and projection apparatus

A light source module and a projection apparatus are provided. The light source module includes a blue light source, a red light source, a wavelength conversion wheel and a filter wheel. The blue light source provides a blue light beam. The red light source provides a red light beam. The wavelength conversion wheel is disposed on a transmission path of the blue light beam and has a wavelength conversion region and a transparent region. The blue light beam passes through the transparent region. The blue light beam is converted into a green light beam by the wavelength conversion region, so as to generate the green light beam. The filter wheel is disposed on transmission paths of the blue light beam and the red light beam and includes a filter region and a diffusion region. A filter spectrum of the filter region includes a first bandwidth that allows the green light beam to pass through and a second bandwidth that allows a red light beam to pass through. The first bandwidth and the second bandwidth are separated with each other. The blue light beam passes through the diffusion region. The light source module and the projection apparatus including the same have a broad color gamut and are able to reduce loss of energy.

An illumination system including at least one light source, a reflection cover, a wavelength conversion element, and a filter element is provided. A focal point of the reflection cover is disposed on an extension line of a transmission path of an excitation beam provided by the light source, and an opening of the reflection cover is adjacent to the focal point. The wavelength conversion element penetrates through the opening, and has a light-action region. The light-action region is disposed on the transmission path of the excitation beam, and converts the excitation beam into a conversion beam. The reflection cover is disposed on a transmission path of the conversion beam. The filter element is disposed on a transmission path of the conversion beam from the reflection cover. The conversion beam from the reflection cover is obliquely incident to the filter element, and the filter element filters the conversion beam.

Illumination system and projection apparatus having reflection cover

An illumination system and a projection device are disclosed. The illumination system includes laser light sources, a color wheel element and light combiners. The laser light sources provide laser lights of different colors. One of the laser light sources is disposed on an optical axis. The color wheel element is disposed on the optical axis and on a transmission path of the laser lights, and adjusts wavelengths of the laser lights. The light combiners are disposed on the optical axis and between the laser light source and the color wheel element. The light combiners are pervious to the laser lights or reflect the laser lights to combine the laser lights on the optical axis. The illumination system uses the laser light sources to provide lights of different colors, and in collaboration with a configuration structure of the optical elements thereof, the laser lights with a wider color gamut are provided.

Illumination system and projection device

A stereoscopic display and a driving method are disclosed herein. The stereoscopic display includes a sensor, a barrier cell, and a control unit. The sensor is configured to detect a user to generate a sensing signal. The barrier cell is configured to generate a 3D image with a 2D image. The barrier cell includes barrier pitches disposed in parallel. Each of the barrier pitches includes switchable barrier units. The control unit is configured to generate control signals to adjust the switchable barrier units according to the sensing signal, so as to make at least one of the switchable barrier units of each of barrier pitches form a shading zone, to make the switchable barrier units disposed at the two adjacent sides of the shading zone form a gray level zone, and to make the rest of the switchable barrier units in the same barrier pitch form a photic zone.
