A display device receiving image data generated by an image generator and including a first memory, a second memory, a selection circuit, a timing controller, and a display panel is provided. The first memory is configured to store first display data. The second memory is configured to store second display data. The second memory is disposed independent of the first memory. The selection circuit selects either the first display data or the second display data to serve as specific data based on a first selection signal. The timing controller generates the first selection signal according to the voltage level of a specific pin and provides the specific data to the image generator. The image generator generates the image data according to the specific data. The display panel displays an image based on the image data.

Display device and electronic device

An edge backlight module, a display apparatus and a backlight controlling method thereof are provided. Each light guide plate (LGP) is divided into longitudinal region(s) in the same direction. The LGPs are arranged in a stacked manner. Each two adjacent LGPs are arranged as upper LGP being completely overlapped with the longitudinal region(s) of lower LGP. The longitudinal region overlapped with adjacent upper LGP is defined as a reflecting region. The longitudinal region not overlapped with adjacent upper LGP is defined as an emitting region. Each LGP has one emitting region. Each reflecting film is sandwiched between two adjacent LGPs. Light from a light emitting device is emitted from the emitting region. Combing with lighting control at lateral region(s) separately, an array region is formed. The light emitting device further includes a high saturation light emitter to render an effect with a high dynamic range and high saturation.

A light emitting diode display including at least one light emitting diode chip is provided. The light emitting diode chip includes a first substrate, a plurality of light emitting diodes, a first insulation layer and a plurality of switch devices. The plurality of light emitting diodes are disposed on the first substrate. The first insulation layer covers the plurality of light emitting diodes. The plurality of switch devices are disposed on the first insulation layer and electrically connected to the plurality of light emitting diodes. Moreover, a fabricating method of the light emitting diode display is also provided.

Light emitting diode display and fabricating method thereof

A fingerprint sensing device, an electronic device, and a calibration method for a fingerprint sensor are provided. The calibration method includes following steps: obtaining an initial environment value while the fingerprint sensor performs initial environmental calibration, and determining whether the initial environment value is in a default environment range or not; determining whether the initial environment value is in one of a plurality of statistical ranges when the initial environment value is not in the default environment range, wherein each of the statistical ranges is obtained statistically by a plurality of fingerprint data of one of a plurality of categories; and, when the initial environment value is in a target statistical range, calibrating the fingerprint sensor according to a target value and an environment default value, wherein the target value corresponds to the target statistical range, and the environment default value corresponds to the default environment range.
