A display apparatus including a frame, a cover, a display panel, a light source and a reflective layer is provided. The cover is connected to the frame to form an accommodating space. The display panel is disposed in the accommodating space. The light source is disposed on the frame and adjacent to the cover. The reflective layer is disposed on a first surface of the cover facing the frame, and is located between the light source and the cover. The reflective layer extends between the light source and the display panel, and does not overlap a display area of the display apparatus.

Display apparatus

A handheld radiation image detecting system and an operation method thereof are provided. The handheld radiation image detecting system includes a handheld device including a radiation emitter and a first transceiver and a sensing device including a radiation image sensor and a second transceiver. The first transceiver is coupled to the radiation emitter and used for generating a first wave with directionality. The second transceiver is used for receiving the first wave and for generating a second wave with directionality, and the first transceiver is used for receiving the second wave.

Handheld radiation image detecting system and operating method thereof

A touch display device includes an organic light emitting diode display panel and a touch panel. The organic light emitting diode display panel includes an organic light emitting diode array having a plurality of pixel regions and a non-pixel region surrounding the pixel regions. Each of the pixel regions has an organic light emitting diode unit thereon, and a metal wire is located in the non-pixel region. The touch panel includes a transparent substrate, a sensing electrode layer and a light-shading pattern. The sensing electrode layer and the light-shading pattern are disposed on the transparent substrate, and overlapped each other. An orthogonal projection of the light-shading pattern onto the organic light emitting diode array is in the non-pixel region, and overlap the metal wire.

Touch display device

A touch-sensing liquid crystal panel and a fabrication method thereof are provided. The touch-sensing liquid crystal panel includes a color filter substrate and a transistor substrate. In the fabrication method, at first, a first glass substrate is provided. Thereafter, a sensing matrix is formed on a first surface of the first glass substrate at a baking temperature. The sensing matrix is formed from indium tin oxide (ITO), and a sheet resistance of the sensing matrix is equal to or less than 30 ohm/square. Then, color filters and a common electrode are disposed on a second surface of the first glass substrate to form a color filter substrate, wherein the second surface is opposite to the first surface. Thereafter, the transistor substrate is provided and combined with the color filter substrate. Thereafter, a slimming process is performed to slim a second glass substrate of the transistor substrate.

Touch-sensing liquid crystal panel and fabrication method thereof

A smart monitor system includes a hand-held electronic device and a monitor. The hand-held electronic device includes a panel, a control unit, a touch-sensing cover and a wireless communication unit. The touch-sensing cover has a cover and a touch-sensing structure. The cover is disposed on the side of the hand-held electronic device opposite the panel. Partial or total area of the touch-sensing structure is disposed on the cover. The touch-sensing structure is electrically connected to the control unit. The wireless communication unit has a wireless communication chip and an antenna. The wireless communication chip is electrically connected to the control unit, and the antenna is disposed on the touch-sensing cover. The smart monitor system can communicate with and controls the monitor through the hand-held electronic device for various application.

A touch-sensing liquid crystal panel is provided and includes a color filter substrate and a transistor substrate. The color filter substrate includes a first substrate, a sensing array, touch-sensing circuit contact pads, and color filters. The transistor substrate includes a second substrate and pixel units. In one embodiment, the first substrate has a first edge region and a second edge region having the same width. In another embodiment, the touch-sensing circuit contact pads are disposed at the first edge region and the second edge region of the first substrate, and each conductive pattern in the sensing array is connected to the touch-sensing circuit contact pads of the first edge region and the second edge region. In another embodiment, each conductive pattern of the sensing array includes two first conductive patterns and conductive pattern rows disposed between the first conductive patterns.

Touch-sensing liquid crystal panel

A touch panel and a touch display device are disclosed, in which the touch panel includes a substrate, a touch component layer and a shielding-electrode film. The substrate has a surface. The touch component layer is disposed on the surface of the substrate and includes a metallic layer, an electrode layer, a protection layer and a hard coat layer. The protection layer is disposed between the metallic layer and the electrode layer. The hard coat layer at least covers the metallic layer and the electrode layer. The shielding-electrode film is disposed on the hard coat layer of the touch component layer, wherein the touch component layer is located between the substrate and the shielding-electrode film, and a resistance of the shielding-electrode film is greater than a resistance of the electrode layer.

Touch panel and touch display device

A touch-sensing liquid crystal panel and a fabrication method thereof are provided. The touch-sensing liquid crystal panel includes a color filter substrate, a transistor substrate, and a sensing matrix. In the fabrication method, at first, a first glass substrate is provided. Then, color filters and a common electrode are disposed on a first surface of the first glass substrate to form a color filter substrate. Thereafter, a transistor substrate is combined with the color filter substrate. Then, the glass substrates of the color filter substrate and the transistor substrate are slimed. Thereafter, a sensing layer is formed on a second surface of the first glass substrate, wherein the second surface is opposite to the first surface. Then, the sensing layer is baked to enable a sheet resistance of the sensing matrix to be equal to or less than 30 ohm/square. Thereafter, the sensing layer is patterned.

An embodiment of this invention provides a touch panel, which comprises a touch screen and a display. The touch screen comprises a patterned, transparent first conductive layer comprising a sensing pattern and a shielding pattern. The touch panel features in that the touch screen employs the sensing pattern as a sensing layer, and the display employs the shielding pattern as an electrostatic protection layer.

A pixel electrode structure for a liquid crystal display with a high aperture ratio increases the aperture ratio and eliminates Mura phenomenon. Any two adjacent pixel electrodes are disconnected to each other. Each pixel electrode comprises a first-lengthwise periphery that overlaps a first-adjacent data line to form a first overlapping portion, and a second-lengthwise periphery that overlaps a second-adjacent data line to form a second overlapping portion. The first-lengthwise periphery and the second-lengthwise periphery have an identical triangle-wave profile and are symmetrical to each other. The triangle-wave profile is formed by connecting a plurality of right-angled and equilateral triangles.

Pixel electrode structure for a liquid crystal display with a high aperture ratio

A liquid crystal display is provided. A liquid crystal display includes a first substrate having color filters therewith; a second substrate having plural first signal lines and plural second signal lines thereon; plural first openings located at intersections of said first signal lines and plural of second signal lines; and plural supports located at said plural first openings and between said first substrate and said second substrate, and separating said first substrate from said second substrate.

Spacing architecture for liquid crystal display and spacing method thereof

A method of repairing an LCD panel having a mura defect is disclosed. The closed seal pattern of the LCD panel has a shape of frame with at least one jut portion directing to a peripheral side of the two substrates. Thus, when a mura defect occurs, a peripheral portion on one side of the two substrates is cut off, wherein the cutting passes across the jut portion of the closed seal pattern to form an opening with respect to the sealed region. An extra amount of liquid crystal can be pressed out through the opening. Then the opening is sealed using a sealant, such that the LCD panel having a mura defect is repaired.
