Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The methods include, for instance: A plurality of log messages generated while an application processes two or more workloads are collected. The application is microservice-based and each of the microservices generates respective log messages. A time domain analysis is performed to lay out respective iteration counts of the microservices of the application. Keyword patterns in the log messages are compiled and stored in a keywords database. A frequency domain analysis on the keyword patterns for respective numbers of appearances in the log messages and stored in a frequency domain analysis database. Logs generated from a new workload are automatically monitored for abnormality by comparing the logs by the new workload to the statistical pattern of keywords as established by previous workloads. For a deviation greater than a threshold, an alert is generated with issue location and delivered to preselected recipients.

Automated workload monitoring by statistical analysis of logs

Aspects of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for dynamic load balancing of user traffic across Internet circuits based on monitored loads of the circuits. The method includes one or more processors receiving a request to utilize an Internet-accessible resource from a first user. The method further includes one or more processors identifying a communications service provider (CSP) that is associated with the user. The method further includes one or more processors determining a real-time load on a first Internet uplink circuit that is provisioned to the first CSP. In response to determining that the real-time load on the first Internet uplink circuit does meet a threshold condition, the method further includes one or more processors distributing traffic corresponding to executing the received request to utilize the Internet-accessible resource to a second Internet uplink circuit that is provisioned to a second CSP.

Load balancing across bandwidth carrying circuits

A method, system, and computer program product for adaptive network provisioning. The method may include determining that a physical infrastructure is updated. The method may also include determining, in accordance with the determination that the physical infrastructure is updated, active configuration information for configuring an updated physical infrastructure to provision a virtual network. The method may also include obtaining historical configuration information for configuring the physical infrastructure to provision the virtual network, where the historical configuration information is generated based on a configuration template. The method may also include determining differential information between the active configuration information and the historical configuration information. The method may also include updating the configuration template based on the determined differential information. The system and computer program product may include similar steps.

Adaptive network provisioning

An approach is provided for optimizing application throughput. Data is collected about traffic flow in a computer network from one or more switches and one or more switches in the computer network. A hot spot destination in the computer network is identified by performing analytics on the collected data about the traffic flow against a traffic pattern in the computer network. An application-optimized software-defined networking (SDN) path is created for new flows to the hot spot destination. In response to an establishment of a new flow, the new flow is forwarded to the application-optimized SDN path.
