An optical device utilized in a laser projector includes a circulatory air channel, a phosphor wheel disposed in the circulatory air channel, a thermal exchanger partially disposed in the circulatory air channel, and an air guiding component disposed in the circulatory air channel for guiding an air provided by the thermal exchanger toward the phosphor wheel. The temperature of the air passing through the phosphor wheel is lower than an environment temperature.

Optical device utilized in laser projector

The projection apparatus includes a light source, optical elements and a heat dissipation assembly. The heat dissipation assembly includes a case, a heat dissipation element, a fan and a temperature controlling unit. The optical elements transmit a light beam generated by the light source, and thereby generate heat. The heat dissipation assembly is adapted for heat dissipation correspondingly. In the heat dissipation assembly, the case protects the optical elements from being polluted by the dust during heat dissipation. The temperature controlling unit senses the surrounding temperature to control the fan for cooling the heat dissipation element, and the durability of the optical elements are thereby enhanced.

Projector having heat dissipation element disposed on a case with optical elements therein

A guiding device and a projector comprising the same are provided. The projector comprises a blower and a bulb. The blower is used for cooling the bulb. The guiding device is disposed between the blower and the bulb, and comprises a body and a flapper. The body of the guiding device is formed with a first outlet and a second outlet. The first outlet and the second outlet are adapted to guide the blower to form a first airflow and a second airflow, respectively. The flapper is disposed in the second outlet and moves along a direction of gravity to partially cover the second outlet to force the second airflow to flow towards a portion of the bulb away from the direction of gravity.

Guiding device and projector comprising the same

A cooling device and a projection device comprising the same are provided. The projection device comprises a lamp and a cooling device. The lamp has a first side and a second side opposite the first side, and one of the two sides is the upper side of the lamp. The cooling device comprises a first blower and a second blower. The first blower is adapted to generate a first airflow towards the first side, while the second blower is adapted to generate a second airflow towards the second side.

Cooling device and projection device comprising the same

An illumination system adapted for a projection apparatus is provided. The illumination system comprises a cooling air guiding apparatus, a lamp, and a cooling fan. The cooling air guiding apparatus comprises an air intake device and an adjustment device, while the adjustment device comprises an air-flow adjustment element and an air-flow guiding element. The cooling fan generates a cooling air, which flows from the exterior through the air intake device into the air-flow adjustment element. The air-flow guiding element guides the cooling air in the air-flow adjustment element out of an air-flow adjustment hole towards a specific direction. Since the adjustment device may move relatively to the air intake device, the air-flow adjustment hole is adapted to move from the first position substantially aligned with the opening to the second position constituting a substantial displacement with respect to the opening. The cooling air can cool the lamp no matter what angle the projection apparatus is disposed. As a result, the projection apparatus is allowed to be installed in any desired orientation without restrictions.

Illumination system adapted for a projection apparatus and cooling air guiding apparatus thereof

A housing assembly which comprises a primary housing, a secondary housing and a moving mechanism is provided. The primary housing has a first external contour and an opening disposed on the primary housing. The secondary housing has a second external contour. The moving mechanism connects the secondary housing to the primary housing so that the secondary housing can move between the sheltering position and the open position. When the secondary housing is located in the open position, the primary housing can define a space within the secondary housing. When the secondary housing is located in the sheltering position, the secondary housing is adapted to at least partially cover the opening. The first external contour and the second external contour together form a third external contour, which has substantially the same or different contour as the first external contour.

Housing assembly and projection device having the same

A projection apparatus having a temperature controlling system is provided. The projection apparatus comprises at least a heat generating element, while the temperature controlling system comprises a liquid flow system, a heat generating device, and a heat transferring device. The liquid flow system is disposed along the heat generating element. The heat generating device produces heat with a positive value (endothermic) or a negative value (exothermic) in response to an environment dependent on the location of the projection apparatus. The heat transferring device transfers the heat generated by the heat generating device along the liquid flow system. The present invention maintains the operation of the projection apparatus under the desired working temperature and enables a thermal equilibrium of the projection apparatus without being influenced by the over-temperature or under-temperature of the external environment.

Projection apparatus

An improved projector device and the cooling device therefor are provided. The provided projector device includes a light source including a lead wire, a first foil having a first front-end and a first rear-end, and a second foil having a second front-end and a second rear-end, and includes a first blower configured on a first side of the light source and generating a first air to cool the bulb portion and the second foil of the light source, and a second blower configured on a second side of the light source and generating a second air to cool the lead wire as well as the first foil.
