A driver integrated circuit for fingerprint sensing, touch sensing and display driving and a driving method thereof are provided. The driver integrated circuit is adapted for driving a touch display panel with a fingerprint sensor. The driver integrated circuit includes a fingerprint sensing control circuit, a display driving circuit, and a display driving circuit. The fingerprint sensing control circuit drives the fingerprint sensor to perform a fingerprint sensing operation. The display driving circuit drives the touch display panel to perform a display operation. The touch sensing control circuit drives the touch display panel to perform a touch operation. The fingerprint sensing control circuit and the display driving circuit have a first direct communication therebetween so as to facilitate at least one of the fingerprint sensing operation and the display operation.

Driver integrated circuit for fingerprint sensing, touch sensing and display driving and driving method thereof

A fingerprint recognition apparatus with dynamically adjustable power levels of light-emitting modules is introduced, including: a touch detecting module detecting a touch coordinate and a touch area of a finger on a panel; a plurality of light-emitting modules emitting light to the finger on the panel; a processing module coupling to the touch detecting module and the plurality of light-emitting modules and outputting a setting value according to the touch coordinate, the touch area and positions of the plurality of light-emitting modules; a light-emitting power adjusting module adjusting power levels of the plurality of light-emitting modules according to the setting value; and an image outputting module outputting the fingerprint according to the fingerprint image.

Fingerprint recognition apparatus and method thereof

A fingerprint identification device and method are provided. The fingerprint identification device includes a touch-sensing panel, a fingerprint sensor, and a processing circuit. The fingerprint sensing area of the fingerprint sensor is located in the touch-sensing area of the touch-sensing panel. The processing circuit senses the touch area of an object in the touch-sensing area via the touch-sensing panel when the object contacts the touch-sensing area of the touch-sensing panel. The processing circuit senses the fingerprint of the object via the fingerprint sensor to obtain a fingerprint template. The processing circuit determines the finger attribute of the object based on the physical characteristics of the touch area. The processing circuit selects the registered template related to the finger attribute from a plurality of registered templates according to the finger attribute, so as to perform fingerprint matching on the fingerprint template.

Fingerprint identification device and method

A fingerprint sensor apparatus including a sampling unit, an image analysing unit and a processor is provided. The sampling unit senses a fingerprint image. The image analysing unit analyses an image parameter of the fingerprint image to obtain an image data, and compares the image data to a reference data to obtain a comparison result. The comparison result includes that the image data corresponds to one of a plurality of stages. The stages are determined based on the image parameter, and the different stages correspond to different pressure regions. The processor controls an electronic device to execute a predetermined operation according to the stage corresponding to the image data. In addition, a method for controlling the fingerprint sensor apparatus is also provided.

Fingerprint sensor apparatus and a method for controlling the fingerprint sensor apparatus

A fingerprint sensor apparatus including a fingerprint sensor and a processor circuit is provided. The fingerprint sensor is configured to capture a plurality of local fingerprint images of a fingerprint. The plurality of local fingerprint images include at least one first local fingerprint image and at least one second local fingerprint image. The processor circuit is electrically connected to the fingerprint sensor. The processor circuit is configured to identify the fingerprint according to the at least one first local fingerprint image of the local fingerprint images. The local fingerprint images form a global fingerprint image of the fingerprint. In addition, a method for sensing a fingerprint is also provided.
