A method for rendering data of a three-dimensional image adapted to an eye position and a display system are provided. The method is used to render the three-dimensional image to be displayed in a three-dimensional space. In the method, a three-dimensional image data used to describe the three-dimensional image is obtained. The eye position of a user is detected. The ray-tracing information between the eye position and each lens unit of a multi-optical element module forms a region of visibility (RoV) that may cover a portion of the three-dimensional image in the three-dimensional space. When coordinating the physical characteristics of a display panel and the multi-optical element module, a plurality of elemental images can be obtained. The elemental images form an integral image that records the three-dimensional image data adapted to the eye position, and the integral image is used to reconstruct the three-dimensional image.

Method for rendering data of three-dimensional image adapted to eye position and display system

An integrated stereoscopic image display device is provided. The integrated stereoscopic image display device includes a display, a lens array layer, and a baffle layer. The display has a display surface and an image computing unit, and the lens array layer is disposed adjacent to the display surface. The baffle layer includes a plurality of baffles that extend along a first inclined direction, and each of the baffles has a rotation angle. The baffles are inclined to the display surface and extend along a second inclined direction, and each of the baffles has an inclination angle.

Integrated stereoscopic image display device

A stereoscopic image display device is provided and includes a flat panel display unit, a lens array unit, and a spacer unit. The flat panel display unit has a display surface. The lens array unit includes at least one condenser lens, which is disposed on a side of the display surface. The spacer unit is disposed between the display surface and the condenser lens, such that the lens array unit and the flat panel display unit are spaced apart from each other. In a light field system of the stereoscopic image display device, an object distance between the display surface of the flat panel display unit and the condenser lens of the lens array unit is configured to enable an absolute value of a central depth plane (CDP) of the stereoscopic image display device in the light field system to be between 1 mm and 200 mm.

Stereoscopic image display device

A stereoscopic image display device includes a flat panel display unit, a lens array unit, and a light guide structure unit. The light guide structure unit includes a light guide microstructure. The light guide microstructure is disposed on a side of the lens array unit. A bottom angle of the light guide microstructure is defined as B, and a bottom length of the light guide microstructure is defined as P. The bottom angle B and the bottom length P of the light guide microstructure satisfies following conditions: (i) 15.5 degrees&#x2264;B&#x2264;83.5 degrees; and (ii) 10 micrometers&#x2264;P&#x2264;2,000 micrometers, such that an oblique viewing angle of the stereoscopic image display device falls within a range from 10 degrees to 60 degrees.

A stereoscopic image display device capable of reducing grid visual effect includes a flat display unit, a light source unit disposed on a side of the flat display unit, and a lens array unit disposed on another side of the flat display unit. A light source provided by the light source unit satisfies an optical characteristic as follows: an attenuation amplitude of a luminance of the light source before entering the lens array unit being not greater than 65% within a divergence angle of a light field system of the stereoscopic image display device, thereby reducing the grid visual effect of a stereo image generated by the stereoscopic image display device.

Stereoscopic image display device capable of reducing grid visual effect

An integrated image display device includes a display unit, a lens array layer, and a baffle assembly. The baffle assembly includes a first baffle layer and a second baffle layer. The first baffle layer includes a plurality of first baffles, and a first transmission portion is formed between each two adjacent ones of the first baffles. The second baffle layer includes a plurality of second baffles, and a second transmission portion is formed between each two adjacent ones of the second baffles. Portions of the first transmission portions overlapped with the second transmission portions form a plurality of light transmission units. An un-reconstructed image displayed by the display surface can be reconstructed by the lens array layer, and be recombined into an integrated image to form a stereo image.
