A motor includes a rotor and a stator, the rotor includes flux barriers. In a plane orthogonal to an axial direction, at least two flux barriers corresponding to each pole of the rotor are located entirely within an extending angle. A magnitude of the extending angle is determined by a number of poles of the rotor and phases of the motor. A center line of the extending angle is a q-axis of the rotor. A ratio between an area of the flux barrier entirely located within the extending angle and an area of all flux barriers corresponding to the pole is about ½ or more, and a ratio between an area of a radially innermost flux barrier entirely located within the extending angle and an area of a radially outermost flux barrier entirely located within the extending angle and a smaller one of the two areas is about 10% or less.

A rotor includes a rotor core that is made of electromagnetic steel sheets rotating around a central axis and laminated in an axial direction, and that has multiple flux barriers penetrating the electromagnetic steel sheets along the axial direction. At least some of the multiple flux barriers are provided with a first penetrating portion and a second penetrating portion arranged in the radial direction, the first penetrating portion housing a magnet and the second penetrating portion housing a conductive non-magnetic conductor.

A rotor includes a stack of electromagnetic steel plates each including through-hole groups with through-holes extending through the respective electromagnetic steel plates. In each of the through-hole groups, at least one of the through-holes accommodates a magnet and at least a portion of the through-holes that does not accommodate any magnet is filled with an electrically conductive material. When the rotor is seen axially, at two circumferential sides of a magnetic flux passage that is adjacent to the magnet, a width of the magnetic flux passage adjacent a first side of the magnet is larger than a width of the magnetic flux passage near a second side of the magnet.

An embodiment of the present invention provides a rotor and a motor having the rotor. By providing a plurality of flux barrier groups and slot groups at intervals in a circumferential direction of the rotor iron core, it is possible to flexibly arrange the numbers of the flux barrier groups and the slot groups so as to meet the requirements for the number of poles of different products. In addition, by flexibly adjusting the quantity ratio between the flux barrier groups and the slot groups and/or the quantity relationship between the flux barriers in the flux barrier group and the slots in the slot group, it is possible to meet the requirements for motor efficiency and starting capacity of different products. Further, since the processing jig of the rotor only requires processing of the structures of the flux barriers and the slots, the manufacturing cost can be reduced.

A motor includes a rotor including a rotating shaft extending along a center axis, a cylindrical rotor core provided outside the rotating shaft in a radial direction, and two discoid weight plates provided at two ends of the cylindrical rotor core in an axial direction, and a stator opposing the rotor in the radial direction.
