A display device adapted to perform in-screen fingerprint identification is provided. The display device includes a plurality of sub-pixel circuits, a plurality of light sensing circuit stages, and a plurality of sensing drive lines. The light sensing circuit stages correspond to the sub-pixel circuits. The sensing drive lines drive the light sensing circuit stages sequentially. In a first time interval, a first sensing drive line among the sensing drive lines provides a first sensing drive signal to a qlight sensing circuit stage and a latter light sensing circuit stage among the light sensing circuit stages. In the first time interval, the qlight sensing circuit stage performs a light sensing reset operation according to the first sensing drive signal, and the latter light sensing circuit stage performs a light sensing write operation according to the first sensing drive signal.

Display device for in-screen fingerprint identification

A display device includes an active display array, an optical sensor array, a first driving circuit, a second driving circuit, and a third driving circuit. The active display array includes a number of scan lines. The first driving circuit is coupled to a first portion of the scan lines through a first metal layer. The second driving circuit is coupled to a second portion of the scan lines through the first metal layer. The third driving circuit is disposed between the first driving circuit and the second driving circuit and is coupled to the optical sensor through a second metal layer. The second metal layer is different from the first metal layer.

Display device

A display device is disclosed. The display device comprises: a plurality of data lines are configured to receive a plurality of data voltages from a source driver, wherein the source driver is disposed in a non-display area of the display device; and a first multiplex switch is disposed in a display area of the display device and configured in response to a first multiplex signal, to provide a first data voltage of the data voltages to a first data line of the data lines.

Display device and operating method thereof

A pixel array substrate including a substrate, a plurality of display pixels, a plurality of sensing pixels, and a read-out circuit is provided. The substrate includes a first region and a second region. The second region is located between the first region and an edge of the substrate. The display pixels are disposed on the first region and the second region of the substrate. The sensing pixels are disposed on the first region of the substrate. The read-out circuit is electrically connected to the sensing pixels. A portion of the read-out circuit is disposed on the second region of the substrate and the portion of the read-out circuit is located between two display pixels of the display pixels.
