An apparatus for testing a lens module includes a light source, a recording element, and an analyzing device. The lens module includes an actuator and a barrel. The light source emits a light beam towards the barrel. The light beam is reflected by the barrel and forms a light spot on the recording element. The recording element records a position of the light spot. The analyzing device calculates a distance between the position of the light spot and a reference position, compares the distance with a predetermined value, and determines whether the distance is larger than the predetermined value. If the distance is less than or equal to the predetermined value, the analyzing device determines that the lens module is satisfactory. If the distance is larger than the predetermined value, the analyzing device determines that the lens module is unsatisfactory.

Lens module testing apparatus

An exemplary a method for manufacturing a lens is provided. In the method, a first lens preform and a second lens preform is formed. The first lens preform includes a first surface and an opposite second surface. The second lens preform includes a third surface and an opposite fourth surface. An oxygen plasma is applied to the second and fourth surfaces so as to form a number of groups capable of being irreversibly bonded. The second surface is contacted with the fourth surface. The groups capable of being irreversibly bonded take place an irreversible bonding reaction to chemically combine the second and fourth surfaces, thereby obtaining a double sided lens preform. The double sided lens preform is diced into a number of double side lenses.

Method for manufacturing lens

A capsule endoscope includes a housing, a lens module, a light source, an imaging module, a memory, a radio frequency transmitter, a power source, and a chamber. The lens module is received in the housing. The light source is configured for illuminating an interior of a body. The imaging module is configured for capturing images of the interior of the body. The memory is configured for storing the captured images. The radio frequency transmitter is configured for wirelessly transmitting the stored images. The power source is electrically connected to the imaging module, the memory and the radio frequency transmitter. The chamber is received in the housing. The lens module and the housing are made of a biodegradable material, and the chamber, the light sources, the imaging module, the memory, the power source, and the radio frequency transmitter are made of a non-biodegradable material.

Capsule endoscope

An exemplary adhesive dispenser includes a container configured for supplying an adhesive, a plurality of nozzles configured for dispensing the adhesive, and a temperature controller connected between the container and the nozzles. The temperature controller has a chamber defined therein, and the chamber is configured for accommodating the adhesive. The container and each nozzle communicate with the chamber respectively. The temperature controller is configured for maintaining the adhesive therein in a predetermined temperature.

An exemplary method for manufacturing mechanical shutter blades using a beryllium-copper substrate is provided. The method includes providing a beryllium-copper alloy substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; respectively applying a first and second photoresist layers onto the first and second surfaces; exposing and developing the first and second photoresist layers, thereby first portions of the first photoresist layer and second portions of the second photoresist layer are left on the first and second surfaces while an unwanted portion of the substrate is exposed to an exterior, the first portions are aligned with the second portions; removing the unwanted portion of the substrate using a wet etching process; and removing the first and second portions from the remaining portion of the substrate.

Method for manufacturing mechanical shutter blades using beryllium-copper alloy substrate

An exemplary alignment apparatus can align a first layer with a second layer. The first layer has a first alignment pattern. The second layer has a second alignment pattern. The alignment apparatus includes a supporting device for supporting the first layer and the second layer, a light pervious reference plate, and a viewing and adjusting mechanism. The light pervious reference plate has a first reference pattern spatially corresponding to the first alignment pattern on the first layer, and a second reference pattern spatially corresponding to the second alignment pattern on the second layer. The viewing and adjusting mechanism is adapted for assisting a human operator to align the first reference pattern with the first alignment pattern and the second reference pattern with the second alignment pattern.

Alignment apparatus for aligning multi-layer structures

An exemplary method for making a plurality of light blocking plates is provided. Firstly, a photoresist layer is formed on a substrate. Secondly, the photoresist layer is exposed using a gray scale photomask. Thirdly, the photoresist layer is developed to form a plurality of conical frustums on the substrate, and each of the conical frustums tapers in a direction away from the substrate. Fourthly, an opaque to-be-solidified film is formed on the substrate, and each of the conical frustums extends through the to-be-solidified film. Fifthly, the to-be-solidified film is solidified. Sixthly, the solidified film is separated from the substrate and the conical frustums, thus obtaining a light blocking plate module including a plurality of light blocking plates. Lastly, the light blocking plate module is cut into a plurality of individual light blocking plates.

Method for making light blocking plate

A portable electronic apparatus includes a main body, a camera device, and a supplementary light device. The camera device and the supplementary light device are fixed on the main body. The supplementary light device includes a light module, a lens module, and a motor. The light module includes a circuit board, a light source, and a heat sink opposite to the light source. The lens module includes a lens barrel and a plurality of lenses received in the lens module. The motor drives the lens module to change the intensity distribution of the light from the light module.
