A clamping device includes two springs, a first barrel, and a second barrel. Each of the two springs includes a first end and a second end. The first barrel is attached to the first ends of the springs, and includes a number of first clamping portions, a number of first slots, and a first receiving space. The first clamping portions and the first slots are alternately arranged around the first receiving space. The second barrel is attached to the second ends of the springs and received in the first receiving space. The second barrel includes a number of second clamping portions, a number of second slots, and a second receiving space. The second clamping portions and the second slots are alternately arranged around the second receiving space. The second barrel is rotatable relative to the first barrel in the first receiving space between a first position and a second position.

Clamping device

A lens module includes a lens barrel, a lens and an aperture plate. The lens barrel includes a main body. The lens barrel includes a main body with an inner sidewall. The lens is received in the main body and includes an optical portion and a non-optical portion surrounded the optical portion. The aperture plate is disposed on the image-side surface of the non-optical portion of lens. The aperture plate defines a plurality of cutouts on the outer periphery thereof and thereby leaving a plurality of flanges at the outer periphery thereof. The flanges abut the inner side wall. The cutouts are coated adhesive to firmly attach the aperture plate on the image-side surface of the lens and fixed on the inner sidewall of the main body.

Lens module

A mold includes a die block, a core, two fixing bolts and four screw bolts. The die block includes a top surface, and two side surfaces. The top surface defines a cavity receiving the core. The core includes two opposite outer side surfaces. One side surface defines a first and a second guiding slots extended to the other side surface and communicating with the cavity. One outer side surface defines a third guiding slot aligned with the first guiding slot. The other outer side surface defines a fourth guiding slot aligned with the second guiding slot. One of the fixing bolts inserts into the first and the third guiding slots. The other one of the fixing bolts inserts into the second and fourth guiding slots. The at least two screw bolts respectively engage with the die block until resisting on a corresponding fixing bolt.

A portable electronic device includes a shell, an image capturing assembly, a signal processing circuit, and a connection plate. The shell defines a first annular shaped guiding slot. The image capturing assembly includes a camera module. The camera module includes a substrate and a flexible circuit board (FPC). The FPC has one end connected to the substrate and another end electrically coupled to the signal processing circuit. The connection plate includes a first plate positioned on the shell and a second plate perpendicular to the first plate. A second guiding slot is defined on the second plate and aligned with the first guiding slot on the shell. The connection plate, the shell, the first and second annular guiding slots cooperatively define a laid-down T-shaped receiving groove, the image capturing assembly is received in the T-shaped groove and is slidable along the T-shaped groove.

A mold plate module includes a mold plate and an inserting block. The mold plate includes a first surface, a blind hole defined in the first surface, a through hole defined in a bottom surface of the mold plate in the blind hole, two mold cavities, and two first sub-runners. The two first sub-runners are defined in the first surface, and connect the corresponding mold cavities to the blind hole. The inserting block includes a second surface, a lateral surface, a block through hole defined in the second surface, and at least one second sub-runner defined in the second surface. The at least one second sub-runner communicates with the block through hole and extends toward and terminating at the lateral surface. The inserting block is detachably received in the blind hole and rotatable relative to the mold plate to switchingly couple the at least one second sub-runner with the first sub-runners.

A mold clearing tool includes a support portion and a draft portion. The support portion includes a bracket and two poles extending downward from two ends of the bracket. The bracket includes a second through hole defined therein. The draft portion includes a main body and a spiral draft end on one end of the main body. The spiral draft end is threaded outside. The draft portion is movably received through the second through hole for clearing excess material remaining in a molding chamber. The molding chamber includes a plurality of first through holes defined therein.

An exemplary lens module includes a lens barrel, a first lens, and a second lens. The lens barrel includes an accommodating cavity defined therein. The first lens is received in the accommodating cavity of the lens barrel. The first lens has a first adjusting notch defined at a periphery thereof. The second lens is received in the accommodating cavity of the lens barrel and adjacent to the first lens. The second lens has a second adjusting notch defined at a periphery thereof. The second adjusting notch communicates with the first adjusting notch.

An apparatus for assembling a lens module includes a UV light source and a pressing device. The lens modules each having a first component, a second component and UV curable adhesive applied between the first and second components. The UV light source is configured for emitting UV light toward the UV curable adhesive. The pressing device is configured for pressing the first components against the second components. A method for assembling a lens module is also included in the invention.

Apparatus and method for assembling lens module

A lens includes a central optical portion, a peripheral portion surrounding the central optical portion, a first ZnS coating formed on the central optical portion and the peripheral portion at one side of the lens, and a first MgFcoating formed the central optical, the peripheral portion being free of MgFcoating formed thereon. The optical thickness of the first ZnS coating is one quarter of a wavelength of predetermined light passing therethrough. The optical thickness of the first MgFcoating is one quarter of the wavelength of the predetermined light.

Optical lens

A fixture for optical elements includes a washing bar, a holder and a vacuum pump. The washing bar includes an inner channel and a connecting portion in communication with the inner channel. A hole is formed in the washing bar for communicating with the inner channel. The holder connects with the washing bar. The holder has a holding surface communicating with the hole. The holding surface has a shape corresponding to a peripheral surface of the optical elements to be held. The vacuum pump is connected with the connecting portion. The vacuum pump is configured for vacuum the washing bar so as to effectively suck the one of the optical elements on the holding surface. The present fixture can hold optical elements firmly and does not damage the optical elements.

Fixture for optical elements for use in cleaning processes

An exemplary solar energy assembly includes a body (), a solar energy collecting component (), and a lens module (). The lens module is movably mounted to the body and is configured for concentrating incident solar radiation onto the solar energy collecting component. The solar energy collecting component is movably mounted to the body and is configured for converting incident solar radiation energy into electrical energy. The solar energy collecting component and the lens module are movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position the lens module, the body, and the solar energy collecting component are stacked on each other. In the second position the solar energy collecting component and the lens module are moved away from the body so as to enable the lens module to concentrate incident solar radiation onto the solar energy collecting component.

A water purification apparatus () includes an evaporating chamber (), a light concentrator (), and a heat pipe (). The evaporating chamber is for containing impure water. The evaporating chamber has a connecting opening () and a vapor outlet (). The light concentrator is for concentrating sunshine. The heat pipe has an evaporating section () and a condensing section (). The evaporating section is irradiated by the concentrated sunshine, and the condensing section is disposed in the evaporating chamber through the connecting opening.

Water purification apparatus

A holding member for facilitating the cleaning of optical components includes two end walls and at least two spaced plates. The two end walls face toward each other. One of the two end walls defines at least one through slot. The at least two spaced plates are held between the two end walls and define at least one pair of respective inner surfaces. Each respective pair of inner surfaces has a pair of corresponding elongated grooves defined therein along a longitudinal direction thereof. Each slot communicates with a respective pair of elongated grooves. In particular, each such through slot and the respective pair of elongated grooves associated therewith are cooperatively aligned with one another in a manner so as to direct the optical components into the respective pair of corresponding elongated grooves.

The heated fluid is heated by a solar energy for increasing the mold temperature. The cooling system has a cooled fluid. The cooled fluid cools for decreasing the mold temperature. The control unit controls the heating system and the cooling system to be opened or closed.

An exemplary clamping apparatus () for optical members () includes a base () and a positioning frame (). The base has a plurality of receiving grooves () defined therein. Each receiving groove is configured for receiving one optical member therein. The positioning frame is mounted on the base.
