Disclosures of the present invention describe a human body-friendly light source constituted by at least one lighting unit and a plurality of color temperature (CT) reducing films stacked to each other. The CT reducing films are connected to a light emission surface of the lighting unit, so as to apply a color temperature reducing treatment to a light emitted from the lighting unit. Exponential data have proved that, two or more stacked CT reducing films exhibit an apparent color temperature reducing effect on the light. Exponential data have proved that, with the increasing of the stack numbers of the CT reducing films, the light is concerted to an orange-white light with color temperature in a range of 1,000-2,500 K, so as to make a sensitivity of melatonin suppression in response to the light be getting lower.

Disclosures of the present invention describe a device for measuring melatonin suppression induced by light source. The device consists of a light receiving unit, a pre-processor, a main processor, and a display unit. In the main processor, a first action spectrum generating unit is provided to convert a first light spectrum to first action spectrum, a second action spectrum generating unit is installed for converting a second light spectrum to second action spectrum, and a spectrum integrating unit is configured to produce a total action spectrum by integrating the first action spectrum with the second action spectrum. Therefore, the total action spectrum is evidenced can be used for describing the melatonin suppression power of both a short-wavelength light (&#x3c;460 nm) and the long-wavelength light by high correctness.

Disclosures of the present invention describe a luminance and color temperature tunable (LCTT) tandem OLED, which mainly consists of a transparent conductive substrate, a HTL, a first lighting unit, a first carrier generation unit, a second lighting unit, a second carrier generation unit, a third lighting unit, an ETL, and a cathode electrode. The first lighting unit is designed to emit a cold-white light, a pure-white light or an orange-white light, the second lighting unit is designed to emit a warm-white light, and third lighting unit is designed to emit an orange-white light, a pure-white light or a cold-white light corresponding to the first lighting unit. By such arrangement, it is easy for a user to make the LCTT tandem OLED provide an illumination with user-desirable color temperature and illuminance by using a control interface to electrically drive the three lighting units, either individually or simultaneously.
