An electronic apparatus is disclosed. The electronic apparatus comprises a random access memory (RAM), a read-only memory (ROM) and a processing unit. The RAM stores a call transfer table, wherein the call transfer table comprising at least one transferred address in the RAM. The ROM stores at least one code to call one address of the call transfer table. The processing unit executes the code in the ROM and reads the transfer table accordingly, then transfers to run the data in the transferred address of the RAM.

A method and system for navigation are provided to locate a GNSS device. The GNSS device comprises a RF front end receiving satellite signals of a plurality of satellites, and a GNSS device comprising a plurality of correlation channels each performing a correlation process to generate a correlation result from satellite signals corresponding to a satellite, a memory device for storage of the correlation results, and a processor performing acquisition and tracking based on the correlation results.

Power saving method adaptable in GNSS device

A positioning method is provided, particularly adaptable for a mobile device. Satellite signals are first received from at least one satellites. At least one first search process is performed on the satellite signals by using an adjustable integration time. A tracking process is then performed when the at least one satellite is acquired in the at least one search process.

A method for determining a Doppler shift of a first signal is provided. First, a plurality of Doppler frequency hypotheses is combined to obtain a joint Doppler signal. The first signal is the correlated according to the joint Doppler signal and a plurality of code signals with phases corresponding to a series of code phase hypotheses to obtain a series of correlation results which are then examined to determine whether the Doppler shift does lie in the Doppler hypotheses. A fine Doppler search is then performed to determine the Doppler shift when the Doppler shift lies in the Doppler hypotheses.

A spreading signal acquisition and tracking method and apparatus is proposed. In accordance with the present invention, coherent integrations are performed by segments and stored for a non-coherent integration. A better freedom of the non-coherent interval selection is provided. The window of the non-coherent integration is sequentially and gradually shifted to achieve better update rate to its detection circuit and to improve searching and tracking for a spreading signal. By using the present invention, rapid signal acquisition can be achieved even when intensity of the spreading signal is very weak, or even when deeper signal blocking or jamming occurs.

Disclosed is a low power consumption GNSS receiver by adaptively adjusting clock frequency. A correlator performs correlations to signals received from the channels with a correlator clock frequency. A DSP controls the correlator clock frequency according to a correlator load to performing correlations. The DSP calculates and adjusts code phases and Doppler frequencies for the signals in turn with a DSP clock frequency. The DSP controls the DSP clock frequency according to an accumulated throughput of calculation and adjustment or a predetermined threshold number of channels. The DSP controls the RF power according to the correlator load. A microprocessor processes a measurement result of the calculation and the adjustment for obtaining position information with a microprocessor clock frequency. The microprocessor controls the microprocessor clock frequency according to an accumulated progress of processing the measurement result. Accordingly, reducing power consumption for the GNSS receiver can be realized.

A non-volatile memory sharing system is provided. The non-volatile memory sharing system includes a plurality of processors comprising at least a first processor and a second processor, a non-volatile memory, and a processor bridge coupled between the first processor and the second processor. The non-volatile memory is coupled to the first processor, and is used for storing a plurality of program codes or data comprising at least a first program code or data for the first processor and a second program code or data for the second processor. Non-volatile memory sharing system for multiple processors and related method thereof

A method for controlling integration for a CDMA signal and a receiver implementing the same. In accordance with the present invention, non-coherent and even coherent integration periods for a received signal are dynamically and adaptively controlled depending upon the condition of the received signal. The integration period can be very short when signal strength is strong and no blocking exists; while it can be extended to be longer when the signal strength is weak or there is a blocking. Therefore, it is possible to keep locking even under bad circumstances. In addition, the fix time can be shortened when the signal strength is very strong.

Control of CDMA signal integration

Methods and apparatuses for searching for satellite signals are provided. One of the proposed methods of searching for satellite signals includes: searching for satellite signals according to measurement predictions; searching for satellite signals of a reference satellite without referring to the measurement predictions; determining if measurements derived from the reference satellite are consistent with the measurement predictions; and searching for satellite signals of other satellites without referring to the measurement predictions if the measurements derived from the reference satellite are determined to be inconsistent with the measurement predictions. If the measurements derived from the reference satellite are determined to be inconsistent with the measurement predictions, navigation information for use in the generation of the measurement predictions is determined to be stale.

A multiple processor system includes a plurality of processors including a first processor and a second processor; a program code storage module coupled to the first processor, the program code storage module for storing program code including first program code for the first processor and second program code for the second processor; and a processor bridge coupled between the first processor and the second processor; wherein the first processor executes the first program code, the second processor is for sending an access request requesting data corresponding to the second program code to the processor bridge; the first processor is for retrieving the access request from the processor bridge, fetching the data from the second program code in the program code storage module according to the access request, and delivering the data to the processor bridge; and the second processor is further for fetching the data from the processor bridge.

Non-volatile memory sharing apparatus for multiple processors and method thereof

A device for canceling a land-groove offset component of a focusing error signal in an optical storage system includes first and second circuits, and an adder. The first circuit processes a radio (or wobble) frequency ripple signal to obtain a first processed signal that is multiplied by a first gain value (G) so as to result in a first signal. The second circuit processes a tracking error signal to obtain a second processed signal that is multiplied by a second gain value (G) so as to result in a second signal. The adder is coupled to the first and second circuits, and adds the first and second signals to produce a compensative land-groove offset component that is to be fed into a focusing device of the optical storage system so as to enable the focusing device to cancel out the land-groove offset component of the focusing error signal.
