A display device includes a first scan line, a second scan line, a first data line, a first pixel unit, a second pixel unit, and a first connection line. The first pixel unit includes a first main-active device, a first sub-active device, a first main-pixel electrode, and a first sub-pixel electrode. The first main-active device is electrically connected with the first scan line and the first data line. The first sub-active device is electrically connected with the first scan line. The second pixel unit includes a second main-active device, a second sub-active device, a second main-pixel electrode, and a second sub-pixel electrode. The second main-active device and the second-sub active device are electrically connected with the second scan line. The first connection line is electrically connected with the first main-active device and the second sub-active device.

Display device

A display apparatus includes pixels, each of which includes first and second pixel driver circuits, first and second driver pads electrically connected to the first and second pixel driver circuits, respectively, a first LED element, first and second connection lines electrically connected to the first and second pixel driver circuits, respectively, and first and second repair pads electrically connected to the first and second connection lines, respectively. A first electrode of the first LED element is electrically connected to the first driver pad. The first repair pad, the second repair pad, the first driver pad, and the second driver pad are structurally separated. A first pixel of the pixels further includes a second LED element overlapping the first and second repair pads of the first pixel, and a first electrode of the second LED element is electrically connected to the second repair pad.

Display apparatus

A display device includes a display module, a lens module and a transparent cover. The display module is provided with a lens area and a display area disposed outside the lens area. The display module is provided with a prism layer surrounding the lens area. The lens module is disposed in the lens area. The transparent cover covers the display module.

A pixel array substrate including a substrate, a first scan line, a first sub-pixel, a second scan line, a second sub-pixel, and a common electrode is provided. The substrate has a first region and a second region. A length of the first region is smaller than a length of the second region. Two opposite sides of the second region correspond to two opposite sides of the substrate respectively. At least one side of the first region does not correspond to one of the two opposite sides of the substrate. The first scan line is disposed on the first region. The first sub-pixel is electrically connected to the first scan line. The second scan line is disposed on the second region. The second sub-pixel is electrically connected to the second scan line. The common electrode is disposed on the substrate. A vertical distance between the common electrode and the first scan line is V, a vertical distance between the common electrode and the second scan line is V, and V&#x3e;V

Pixel array substrate

A display panel includes a substrate, an opposite substrate opposite to the substrate, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the substrate and the opposite substrate, a pixel array disposed between the substrate and the liquid crystal layer, and first polarized patterns. The pixel array includes a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of active devices, and a plurality of first electrodes. The active devices are electrically connected to the scan lines and the data lines. The first electrodes are disposed on the substrate. Each of the first electrodes includes a plurality of slits. The first polarized patterns overlap with the first electrodes in a direction perpendicular to the substrate. The first polarized patterns are disposed between the substrate and the opposite substrate. An extending direction of the first polarized patterns is different from an extending direction of the slits.

Display panel

A display panel includes an active device substrate, an opposite substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a color filter layer, and a first polarized pattern layer. The color filter layer includes a first filter pattern, a second filter pattern, and a third filter pattern. The first polarized pattern layer includes a first upper polarized pattern, a second upper polarized pattern, and a third upper polarized pattern. The first upper polarized pattern is disposed in correspondence to the first filter pattern and includes a plurality of metal wires arranged along a first direction. The second upper polarized pattern is disposed in correspondence to the second filter pattern and includes a plurality of metal wires arranged along a second direction. The third upper polarized pattern is disposed in correspondence to the third filter pattern and includes a plurality of metal wires arranged along a third direction.

A backlight module includes a light guide plate that has a first side and a second side, a light emitting element, and a light guide element. The light emitting element is adjacent to the first side of the light guide plate. The light guide element is disposed between the first side and the second side, and forms a first opening therein. The light guide element includes a first refractive part and a second refractive part. The first refractive part has a first refractive index, the second refractive part has a second refractive index, and the first refractive index and the second refractive index are different from a refractive index of the light guide plate. The orthogonal projections of the first refractive part and the second refractive part on the first side are non-overlapped with each other.

Backlight module

A display panel including a scan line, a first data line, a second data line, a first switching element, a second switching element, a first electrode, two second electrodes, a third electrode, a black matrix and a plurality of color filter layers is provided. The first switching element is electrically connected with the scan line and the first data line. The second switching element is electrically connected with the second data line. The first electrode includes at least two first openings. The two second electrodes are electrically connected with the first switching element and the second switching element respectively through the at least two first openings. The third electrode includes two first body portions, a second body portion and at least two branch portions. The black matrix includes a plurality of second openings. Two neighboring color filter layers are disposed corresponding to one of the second openings and form an overlapped structure. The overlapped structure substantially covers at least a portion of the second data line.

Display panel having first, second, and third electrodes

A pixel structure includes a substrate, first and second gate lines, first and second data lines, and at least one pixel unit. The first and second gate lines and the first and second data lines are over the substrate and intersect with each other. The pixel unit is disposed on the substrate. The pixel unit includes first and second active devices, a common electrode, and first and second pixel electrodes. The first and second active devices are electrically connected to the first data line, and electrically connected to the first and second gate lines respectively. The common electrode is connected to a common potential source. The first and second pixel electrodes are over the common electrode and electrically connected to the first and second active devices respectively. At least one second branch electrode of the second pixel electrode shrinks from its one side to another side.

Pixel structure

A display panel includes a substrate, a plurality of first signal lines, a plurality of second signal lines, a plurality of sub-pixel electrodes, and a first common electrode layer. The plurality of first signal lines and the plurality of second signal lines define a plurality of pixel areas together. Each of the plurality of sub-pixel electrodes is disposed in one of the plurality of pixel areas. The first common electrode layer includes a plurality of first common electrodes electrically connected to each other. Each first common electrode includes a stem and a plurality of branches, and the plurality of branches is coupled to two sides of the stem and extends away from the stem. An orthogonal projection of each stem onto the substrate is located between two adjacent sub-pixel electrodes. Orthogonal projections of the branches onto the substrate at least correspond to one sub-pixel electrode.

A touch display panel and controlling method thereof are provided. The touch display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a display medium layer, a first common electrode, and a pixel structure including a pixel electrode and a second common electrode. The first common electrode has a voltage signal. In a display mode, the pixel electrode is provided with a data signal so that a first voltage difference exists between the first and the second common electrodes. The arrangement of the display medium layer varies according to the data signal and the first voltage difference. In a touch mode, the second common electrode is provided with an indication signal whose waveform alternates between first and second voltage values. When the indication signal is at the first voltage value and a second voltage value respectively, a second and a third voltage differences exist between the first and second common electrodes.

Touch display panel alternately executing a display mode and a touch mode and control method thereof

A pixel array includes a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of data lines, a first active device, a second active device, a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode. The first active device and the second active device are electrically connected to the corresponding scan line and data line respectively. The first pixel electrode is electrically connected to the first active device through a contact hole. The second pixel electrode is electrically connected to the second active device through the contact hole.

Pixel array

An array substrate includes a plurality of gate lines, first data line segments, second data line segments, first thin film transistors and second thin film transistors. Each first thin film transistor includes a first gate electrode, a first source electrode and a first drain electrode, and each second thin film transistor includes a second gate electrode, a second source electrode and a second drain electrode. The first data line segment, the second data line segment and the next first data line segment arranged sequentially in a first direction define a first gap and a second gap, where the second gap is greater than the first gap. The first source electrode, the second source electrode and the next first source electrode arranged sequentially in the first direction define a third gap and a fourth gap, where the third gap is greater than the first gap, and the fourth gap is smaller than the second gap.
