A clutch mechanism with overload protection provided between a power input shaft and a power output shaft of an actuator includes a magnet set including at least a first magnet and a second magnet that are arranged as magnetically attractive to each other and are attached to the power input shaft and the power output shaft, respectively; and a friction assembly including a first friction member and a second friction member arranged adjacent to each other and between the first magnet and the second magnet, so as to provide a constant friction between the magnets. The magnet set and the friction assembly jointly set a limit of a torque between the power input shaft and the power output shaft. When the torque exceeds the limit, the power input shaft and the power output shaft are disconnected, so as to achieve overload protection.

An assembling mechanism of a self-locking linear actuator includes a gearbox, a one-piece rear retainer seat and a casing. The gearbox is composed of two half pieces, which are mated with each other for accommodating and locating a transmission mechanism of the actuator. The rear retainer seat is fixedly held in the gearbox for supporting a bearing of a threaded rod of the transmission mechanism and bearing the stress from the threaded rod. The contact faces of the rear retainer seat and the gearbox are regular polygonal to facilitate adjustment of fixing angle of the rear retainer seat. The casing is composed of two half casings, which are mated with each other to accommodate the transmission mechanism, the gearbox and the rear retainer seat. The mating faces of the half casings are parallel to the axis of the output shaft of a motor to facilitate connection operation of the casing.

A brush DC motor with reduction mechanism includes: a brush DC motor including a motor case, a stator section and a rotor section having a substantially cylindrical core, the stator section and the rotor section being received in the motor case; and a first reducing section drivable by the motor. The first reducing section includes a first sun gear, an external ring gear positioned around the sun gear and several planetary gears held between the external ring gear and the sun gear and engaged with the sun gear and the external ring gear. The first reducing section further includes a planetary carrier for locating the planetary gears in their true positions. Multiple parallel linear splines are formed on a circumference of the core at intervals. One end of the core with the splines formed on the circumference of the end serves as the sun gear of the first reducing section.

A linear actuator with a quick-release mechanism allows the unpowered, loaded linear actuator to immediately return to its initial position by operating a rotatable involute cam of the quick-release mechanism. The quick-release mechanism is connected with a remote monitoring system so the current position of the linear actuator can be detected from a distant place.

A linear feedback device for an actuator comprises: a coiling belt, a return gear wheel, a driven member, and a sensing feedback device. The sensing linear feedback device serves to feedback the displacement data of the driven member that is moveable along a predetermined rail after engaging with the return gear wheel. The return gear wheel is coaxial with the coiling belt, and the coiling belt unwinds or retracts along with the actuator and drives the return gear wheel to rotate. The gear ratio between the return gear wheel and the driven teeth is used to adjust the back and forth moving distance of the probe. The linear feedback device can be installed in a small external hanging type body and offer an absolute position sensing function while preventing the error accumulation.

Actuator

A pulley actuator implements a motor to drive a screw and a guide rod to relatively expand or retract while utilizing one flexible rope and two pulleys to drive three telescoped tubes to relatively expand or retract move correspondingly. The pulley actuator has a simplified structure as compared with the known devices and is easy to fabricate.

A linear actuator is provided with an outer tube, an intermediate tube and an inner tube, and the tubes are all polygonal in cross section and are mounted orderly. The outer tube is disposed at the bottom thereof with a push device which has a screw and a nut that are screwed with each other. The nut is engaged in the intermediate tube and is linked to move axially by the screw. The intermediate tube can be movably equipped with a pulling member, and the pulling member can link the inner tube to synchronously move in the axial direction. By such arrangements, the linear actuator allows the respective tubes to extend and retract axially relative to one another while preventing them from moving relative to one another in radial direction, thus achieving the stable and smooth axial movement.

A locking structure for an upper cover and an outer housing of a motor, the motor comprises an outer housing, an upper cover and at least two locking members. The upper cover is mounted on one end of the outer housing, and the locking members are locked in the outer housing by screws that pass through the upper cover, such that the upper cover and the outer housing are locked with each other stably and easily.
