A wearable apparatus includes a user interface, a motion sensor, a microprocessor and a central processing unit (CPU). In an operation mode, the motion sensor senses a current hand movement trajectory (HMT). The microprocessor generates a velocity curve along a coordinate axis according to the current HMT, and samples the velocity curve according to a first predetermined velocity and a second predetermined velocity to output velocity sampling points. The microprocessor further determines whether a matching number between the velocity sampling points and velocity feature points is greater than a threshold. The current HMT matches a predetermined HMT when the matching number is greater than the threshold. The CPU performs a system operation corresponding to the default HMT when the current HMT matches the predetermined HMT.

Gesture recognition method and wearable apparatus

A touch panel including a substrate, first sensing series, second sensing series, first lines and second lines is provided. Each first sensing series includes first electrode portions and first crossing portions. Each second sensing series includes second electrode portions and second crossing portions. Any adjacent two among the first electrode portions and the second electrode portions are separated by a spacing region. Each first crossing portion crosses one second crossing portion. The first lines respectively connect to the first sensing series and extend to a bonding region of the substrate. A protection device for protecting a power cable connector includes one sensor, a separation mechanism and a processing unit. The sensor is for sensing a relative distance and a moving speed of an external object. The separation mechanism is connected to the power cable connector in a separable manner. The processing unit is electrically connected to the sensor for controlling the separation mechanism to separate from the power cable connector as the sensor senses that the relative distance is less than a separation distance and the moving speed is not zero.

A method for sharing notes of an electronic book (E-book) is illustrated. The method includes steps of: comparing an identification information of a note file with a book information of the electronic book for determining whether the note file corresponds to the electronic book; receiving and transferring the note file to an electronic reader displaying the electronic book when the note file corresponds to the electronic book; stacking and displaying at least one note layer included in the note file above an electronic page of electronic book displayed on a user interface of the electronic reader, wherein the note layer includes an auxiliary annotation associated with content of the electronic page and the note layer is independent of the electronic page. Therefore, reader may read the E-book and review related annotations on the user interface at the same time, and share the note file independently to other readers.

A color-changeable protective device for a portable device equipped with a touch screen is provided. The color-changeable protective device comprises a power source and a electro-chromic element. The electro-chromic element is disposed to correspond to the touch screen so as to cover the entire touch screen. According to whether the operating status of the electro-chromic element is a power-on operating status, the electro-chromic element appears to be transparent or opaque.
