The invention provides a universal serial bus connector, including an insulating body and a plurality of terminals. The insulating body has a tongue portion and at least one recess located on the tongue portion. The terminals pass through the insulating body, and the terminals expose the insulating body from the tongue portion. The recess corresponds to at least one terminal and is located in an extending direction of the corresponding terminal on the tongue portion.

Waterproof receptacle connector

An electrical receptacle connector includes a terminal module, an inner metallic shell, an outer insulation frame, and an outer metallic shell. The terminal module is assembled with the inner metallic shell and the outer insulation frame, the outer metallic shell is formed on the outer insulation frame, and the outer metallic shell is in contact with the inner metallic shell. The connector is provided with the outer insulation frame so as to prevent water moist entering into the other end of the outer insulation frame from one end of the outer insulation frame having the insertion opening. In addition, the outer metallic shell is formed on the outer insulation frame to improve the structural strength of the connector. Moreover, the outer metallic shell and the inner metallic shell are soldered with each other through the grooves of the outer insulation frame.

Electrical receptacle connector

An electrical receptacle connector includes a terminal module and a plurality of shielding plates. The terminal module includes a base portion, a tongue portion outward extended from one of two sides of the base portion, and a plurality of receptacle terminals. The receptacle terminals are held on the base portion. One of the shielding plates is between one of the first ground terminals and one of the second ground terminals, and another one of the shielding plates is between another one of the first ground terminals and another one of the second ground terminals. Accordingly, when the tongue portion is worn by repeated plug-and-pull operations, the signal terminals of the receptacle terminals are not in contact with the shielding plate to prevent the short circuit problem.
