A method provide a selection option to the at least one portable device, the selection option relating to selection of the first audio content and retrieving a selection from the at least one portable device based on the selection option. The method further retrieves a selection of the second audio content and synchronizing the first audio content, the second audio content, and the video content by embedding a synchronizing signal in the first audio content, the second audio content, and the video content. The method further outputs the second audio content and the video content to an output device according to the synchronizing signal. Responsive to the selection of the first audio content, the first audio content with the embedded synchronizing signal is transmitted to the least one portable device, wherein the at least one portable device outputs the first audio content according to the synchronizing signal.

Systems and methods for transmission of media content

Various embodiments described herein provide users with a fast and efficient way for identifying scenes for editing purposes. At least one embodiment is a method for searching media content based on identification data embedded in an editing file. The method comprises receiving the editing file and extracting identification data from the editing file, wherein the identification data is uniquely associated with particular media content. The method further comprises searching one or a plurality of media content based on the identification data and identifying matching media content, performing a secure download of the identified media content, and performing playback of the media content based on special effects specified in the editing file, wherein the media content is unmodified during playback.

Systems and methods for searching media content based on an editing file

One embodiment, among others, includes a method for editing video. The method comprises receiving a plurality of media files and receiving specified special effects corresponding to each of the plurality of media files. Based on the received plurality of media files and the specified special effects for each of the plurality of media files, a single output is generated whereby the special effects are incorporated and where the plurality of media files are unmodified.

Systems and methods for integrating interactive features into multiple media content sources

A computer readable medium and method for production of multimedia content are provided. In this regard, one embodiment of such a computer readable medium, among others, can be broadly summarized as including instructions executable by a computer that control the computer to perform importing a source content; receiving a selection of a first portion of the imported source content; generating an instructional content, wherein the instructional content comprises a first server identifying content and a relation between the first portion of the imported source content and a second portion of the imported source content; exporting the first portion of the imported source content for storage as at least a portion of a first server multimedia content on a first server; and burning, on an optical disc, the second portion of the imported source content and the instructional content as at least a portion of an optical disc multimedia content.

Production of multimedia content

A system and method for revision of multimedia content is provided. For example, in one embodiment, among others, a computer readable medium comprises instructions for revising a multimedia content. The multimedia content includes a first server multimedia content and an optical disc multimedia content. The instructions are executable on a computer and control the computer to perform retrieving, using an optical disc drive, a first association content included in an instructional content stored on an optical disc. The optical disc multimedia content includes the instructional content. The instructions further control the computer to perform importing the first server multimedia content from a first server according to the retrieved first association content. The first server multimedia content is a previously-authored content. The instructions further control the computer to perform updating the first server multimedia content and exporting the updated first server multimedia content.

Revision of multimedia content

Before generating a digital photo slide show, both original digital photos and related media playing packages are burnt into a same optical disc. While the optical disc is loaded by a disc playing device, a media playing module installed on the optical disc playing device loads both the original digital photos and the related media packages on the optical disc, and generates a required digital photo slide show according to digital photos and media playing packages, both of which are chosen by a user, for preventing the problem of causing damage of resolution of the digital photos by repeatedly encoding said digital photos, and for management and reuse of said digital photos on the optical disc hereafter.

Method of generating a digital photo slide show from an optical disc

Before playing a digital photo slide show, both required digital photos and a guiding program are burnt on an optical disc in advance. While the disc is loaded into an optical disc play device, the guiding program triggers the optical disc play device to connect with an external network for updating media play effect packages, which are related to the digital photos, and for storing the updated media play effect packages in a preserved database of said optical disc play device. Then a corresponding digital photo slide show is dynamically generated and played according to both the updated media play effect packages, which are stored in the preserved database, and the digital photos burnt on the optical disc.
