An electric fan includes a fan base (), a bearing () and a rotor assembly (). The fan base forms a central tube () receiving the bearing therein. The rotor assembly includes a fan hub (), and a pivot axle () joined to the fan hub. The pivot axle pivotably extends into the bearing. A sealing lid () is screwedly mounted on a bottom opening of the central tube to prevent lubricant oil contained in the central tube from leaking. The sealing lid abuts against a bottom of the bearing to prevent the bearing from deflection.

Electric fan with sealing lid

An electric fan includes a fan base (), a bearing () and a rotor assembly (). The fan base forms a central tube () receiving the bearing therein. The rotor assembly includes a fan hub (), and a pivot axle () joined to the fan hub. The pivot axle pivotably extends into the bearing. The bearing has an outer wall () with a plurality of bulwarks () circumferentially formed thereon. At least one partition hole () corresponding to the bulwarks is defined in the bearing. The at least one partition hole effectively prevents a radially inward pressure exerted by the central tube on the bearing from being exerted to the pivot axle via the bearing. Therefore, a friction between the bearing and the pivot axle is reduced.

Electric fan with bearing

An apparatus () for supporting a cooling device () thereon includes a bracket () and a saddle () carrying the cooling device () thereon. The bracket () defines two opposing rails (), () and a washboard-like member () extending along a direction in which the rails (), () extend. Apparatus for supporting cooling device

A heat dissipation device includes a fin set, first and second base plates and first and second heat pipes. The first base plate has a face for contacting a heat generating electronic device. The first heat pipe includes first and second sections sandwiching the fin set between the first and second sections and engaging with the fin set. The first and second base plates sandwich the first heat pipe and the fin set between the first and second base plates and engage with the first heat pipe and the fin set. The second heat pipe includes first and second sections sandwiching the first heat pipe, the fin set, the first and second base plates between the first and second sections of the second heat pipe and engaging with the first and second base plates.

Heat dissipation device with heat pipes

A heat dissipation device includes a heat sink () and at least a serpent heat pipe (). The heat sink () comprises a base () contacting with an electrical component, a heat dissipation fins group () secured to the base () and a cover () attached to a top of the heat dissipation fins group (). The heat dissipating fins group () defines a notch () at one side thereof. Two end portions of the heat pipe () are respectively connected to the base () and the cover (), and a middle portion of the heat pipe () is accommodated in the notch ().

Heat dissipation device

An electric fan includes a fan base (), a bearing () and a rotor assembly (). The fan base forms a center tube () receiving the bearing therein. The center tube has a wall and a baffle element () bending from a top end of the wall. The baffle element engages with a top of the bearing to prevent lubricant oil from leakaing from the top of the bearing. The rotor assembly includes a fan hub (), and a pivot axle () joined to the fan hub. The pivot axle pivotably extends into the bearing. The bearing has a central bore () and at least one channel () defined in the bearing and located around the bore. As the fan is operated, the lubricating oil repeatedly flows through the at least one channel.

An electric fan includes a fan base (), a bearing () and a rotor assembly (). The fan base forms a central tube () receiving the bearing therein. The rotor assembly includes a fan hub (), and a pivot axle () joined to the fan hub. The pivot axle pivotably extends into the bearing. A first and second locking rings () are received in the central tube. Each of the first and second locking rings defines a central bore () therein. The pivot axle is engaged in the central bores of the first and second locking rings. The first locking ring is located at a top of the bearing and the second locking ring is located at a bottom of the bearing to prevent the rotor assembly from escaping from the bearing when the fan is operated.

A liquid cooling device includes a heat-dissipating unit () and a heat-absorbing unit (). The heat-dissipating unit () connects with the heat-absorbing unit () by an inlet pipe () and an outlet pipe () to form a closed circulation loop. The heat-dissipating unit () includes a base (), a tank (), a heat-dissipating body () beside the tank () and a cover (), which are assembled together as a single unit. A pump () is placed in the tank () and operated to pump liquid coolant to flow in the circulation loop. During flowing through the base () and the cover (), the liquid coolant transfers heat to the heat-dissipating body ().

Liquid cooling device

A heat dissipation device comprises a heat spreader for contacting an electronic device for absorbing heat therefrom. A plurality of fins is formed on the heat spreader. A first heat sink is separated from the heat spreader and comprises a first base substantially perpendicular to the heat spreader and a plurality of first fins formed on the first base. A second heat sink comprises a second base connecting with the first base and a plurality of second fins formed on the second base. Two heat pipes connect the heat spreader with the first base and the second base via opposite sides of the heat dissipation device. The heat pipes are partly sandwiched between the first base and the second base and transfers heat from the heat spreader to both of the first and the second heat sink.

A heat dissipating device () includes a heat sink (), a first and a second fixing members () mounted on the heat sink, a lever () pivotably mounted to the second fixing member, a fan holder () and a fan () mounted on the fan holder. A pair of mounting holes () is defined in the first fixing member. A catch () is bent from the second fixing member for clasping the lever. The fan holder includes a pair of tongues engaged in the mounting holes of the first fixing member, and a U-shaped receiving portion () receiving and downwardly pressed by the lever.

Heat dissipating assembly with fan fastening device

A heat dissipating device () includes a heat spreader (), a radiator (), at least one U-shaped heat pipe (), a fan () mounted on the radiator and a pair of clips (). The radiator includes a first heat sink () and a second heat sink (). The first heat sink () includes a first base () and a plurality of fins () extending from a side of the first base. The second heat sink () includes a second base () and a plurality of fins () extending from a side of the second base. The heat pipe () includes an evaporating portion () attached to the heat spreader and a pair of condensing portions () extending upwardly from opposite ends of the evaporating portion. The two condensing portions are sandwiched between the first base and the second base. The heat pipe transfers heat from the heat spreader to both of the first base and second base.

Heat dissipating device

A heat sink assembly includes a heat spreader (), a plurality of fins () extending from the spreader, fasteners () and securement sleeves () fixed to the fasteners. The fastener includes a head () and a shaft () having a threaded bottom end (). The sleeve comprises a cylindrical wall (), an upper open end () and a lower open end (). The sleeve further has an annular pedestal () perpendicularly connected with the wall and extending in the lower open end. The head is received in the wall and contacts the pedestal. The shaft extends through the spreader. A compressed spring () is providing between the head and the spreader for urging the spreader downwardly to engage with a heat generating electronic device.

Heat sink assembly

A locking device for securing a heat sink to a heat generating electronic device includes a retaining member attached to the heat sink and a plurality of fasteners positioned to the retaining member. The retaining member includes a frame and a plurality of fastening feet integrally formed with the frame by metal extrusion. The frame has an opening for receiving a bottom protrusion of the heat sink therein. Each fastening foot has a slot therein communicating with the opening of the frame and defines a fastening hole. The fasteners are respectively positioned in the fastening holes of the fastening feet of the retaining member.

Locking device for heat sink

A heat dissipation device for being installed to and cooling an electronic card device () includes first and second heat dissipation units () and at least one heat pipe (). The heat dissipation units each include a base plate () and a fin plate () engaged with the base plate. The at least one heat pipe includes an evaporating segment () received between the base plate and the fin plate of the first heat dissipation unit, and a condensing segment () received between the base plate and the fin plate of the second heat dissipation unit, thereby connecting the first and second heat dissipation units together. The evaporating segment and the condensing segment of the at least one heat pipe are movably received in the first and second heat dissipation units respectively before the heat dissipation device is installed to the electronic card device and dissipating heat generated therefrom, and are firmly secured in the first and second heat dissipation units respectively after the heat dissipation device is installed to the electronic card device and dissipate heat generated therefrom.

A heat dissipation device includes a heat conducting base, a heat sink on the base and two heat pipes thermally contacting with the heat sink and the base. The heat sink is made of metal extrusion and includes a heat conducting cylinder at a periphery of the heat sink and a plurality of fins extending from and surrounded by the cylinder. The cylinder includes four interconnected sides. The fins of the same side are parallel to each other. The two heat pipes thermally surround the cylinder of the heat sink and wholly contact the heat sink.
