The driving circuit of the display includes a timing controller. The timing controller is coupled to a general purpose input/output (GPIO) pin of the touch driver. The timing controller receives an instruction signal via the GPIO pin of the touch driver. The timing controller starts a detection period according to a first edge switched from a first voltage level to a second voltage level of the instruction signal. The timing controller detects a number of pulse signals of the instruction signal, and determines a current operating status of the touch driver according to the number of pulse signals of the instruction signal during the detection period. The timing controller determines that the current operating status of the touch driver is one of touch operation type statuses according to the number of pulse signals of the instruction signal during the detection period being a default number.

An electrophoretic display device, including a substrate, a first conductive layer, multiple insulating patterns, a second conductive layer, an adhesive layer, and an electrophoretic display film, is provided. Each of the signal lines is located between two adjacent background patterns. Each of the insulating patterns covers each of the signal lines and bridges to the two adjacent background patterns. The second conductive layer includes multiple conductive patterns. Each of the conductive patterns covers the each of the insulating patterns and bridges to the two adjacent background patterns. The adhesive layer is disposed on and in direct contact with the background pattern and the second conductive layer. The electrophoretic display film is disposed above the adhesive layer.

A display device and a display driving method are provided. The display device includes a display panel and a timing controller. A timing controller is configured to drive the display panel. A memory is configured to store previous image data. The timing controller sequentially receives a plurality of current image data during an image update period, and compares the plurality of current image data to the previous image data to sequentially generate a plurality of driving signals. The timing controller sequentially outputs the plurality of driving signals to the display panel during the screen update period to update a display screen of the display panel.

A touch sensor configured to sense a touch object is provided. The touch sensor includes a sensing device and a sensing circuit. The sensing device includes a substrate, a sensing electrode, a sensing common electrode and a shielding layer. The sensing electrode and the sensing common electrode are disposed on the substrate. A driver apparatus configured to drive an electronic paper display panel to perform a touch sensing operation is provided. The driver apparatus includes a scanner apparatus and a sensing apparatus. The scanner apparatus scans multiple sensing blocks of the electronic paper display panel to perform the touch sensing operation. Each sensing block includes one or more sensing devices. The sensing blocks are arranged in an array. The sensing apparatus is electrically connected to the scanner apparatus. The sensing apparatus controls the scanner apparatus to scan the sensing blocks. The sensing apparatus charges/discharges each sensing block according to a first voltage and a second voltage, so that a relaxation signal is generated. A pulse difference of the relaxation signal is changed by the touch object. The touch object is a conductor. An electrophoretic display panel including a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer, an electrophoretic display layer and a low surface energy coating layer is provided. The first electrode layer has a first surface and a second surface corresponding to the first surface. The electrophoretic display layer is disposed between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer. The electrophoretic display layer has a third surface. The third surface of the electrophoretic display layer and the second surface of the first electrode layer have a gap therebetween. A gap distance of the gap is changed with a press operation. The low surface energy coating layer is coated on at least one of the second surface of the first electrode layer and the third surface of the electrophoretic display layer.

A touch display device including a driving substrate, a display module, a touch electrode layer and an insulating layer is provided. The driving substrate has a display area and a non-display area located outside the display area. The display module includes a display medium layer, a transparent conductive layer and a transparent cover plate sequentially arranged on the driving substrate and located in the display area. The touch electrode layer is disposed in the non-display area of the driving substrate or outside the driving substrate. The insulating layer covers an upper surface of the display module and extendedly covers a top surface of the touch electrode layer along a side edge of the display module.
