An arrayed RF system includes an expandable mother circuit carrier and sub-modules implemented with RF packaged radiation structures. The sub-modules are embedded onto the mother circuit carrier through plug-in interfaces to form a replaceable and expandable co-structural structure. The mother circuit carrier receives and up-converts an input intermediate-frequency signal, thereby generating first high-frequency signals. The sub-modules are horizontally embedded on the mother circuit carrier, arranged into a one-dimensional or two-dimensional array, and electrically connected to the mother circuit carrier. The RF packaged radiation structures respectively receive first high-frequency signals, thereby emitting first RF signals. The RF packaged radiation structures receive second RF signals, thereby generating second high-frequency signals. The mother circuit carrier down-converts the second high-frequency signals, thereby generating an output intermediate-frequency signal.

Arrayed radio-frequency (RF) system

An integrated antenna device comprises a curved-surface transmitting array and an array antenna. The curved-surface transmitting army has a plurality of focuses to homogenize its radiation gains. The array antenna is arranged between the curved-surface transmitting array and the plurality of focuses. According to the control of an active RF module of the array antenna, the array antenna emits the first-order beam and performs beam scanning. The curved-surface transmitting array is used to focus the first-order beam to produce a second-order beam with high gain. The generation of the beamforming feed excitation weight of the active RF module makes the integrated antenna device have a beam scanning mechanism. The array antenna can be formed by feeder antennas A DSP dynamic groups the feeder antennas to form subarrays, the subarrays can generate different first-order beams for multi-point communications. The first-order beams can be scanned in an interleaved fashion.

A antenna structure including a reflector, a horizontally polarized antenna and a vertically polarized antenna on the front side of reflector, wherein the horizontally polarized antenna is made up of a pair of dipoles, each said dipole includes a positive ground member and a negative ground member overlapping each other, while the vertically polarized antenna is made of a upper ground member and a lower ground member overlapping each other, and the upper ground member is above the upper dipole and the lower ground member is below the lower dipole, and a first signal source and a second signal source extend from the back side of the reflector to the front side to excite the horizontally polarized antenna and the vertically polarized antenna, respectively.

Antenna structure

A method for correcting antenna phases includes a beam angle calculating step, beam angle adjusting step, antenna emission measuring step and beam angle correcting step. The method involves comparing a difference between the ideal antenna phase value and the measured beam angle value, determining according to the difference that the beam direction of the antenna needs to be corrected, and adding the difference to a current ideal antenna phase value in the algorithm to calculate another ideal antenna phase value for being sent to the phase control circuit and used in executing the beam angle adjusting step in a next instance of measurement process until the beam angle correcting step finds the difference which requires no correction of the beam direction of the antenna. Therefore, temperature-dependent errors do not occur to beam directions, thereby enhancing the communication efficiency of an antenna system.

Method and device for correcting antenna phase

A multi-beam phased antenna structure and a controlling method are provided. The multi-beam phased antenna structure includes a main antenna array and a passive beam forming circuit. The main antenna array includes a plurality of first main antennas and a plurality of second main antennas. The first main antennas are spaced out a predetermined distance. The predetermined distance is related to a coverage of the multi-beam phased antenna structure. The first main antennas and the second main antennas are interleaved. The second main antennas are spaced out the predetermined distance. The passive beam forming circuit includes a plurality of main phase shifters. The main phase shifters are electrically coupled to the second main antennas, such that a difference between a first phase of each of the first main antennas and a second phase of each of the second main antennas is substantially 180&#xb0;.

Multi-beam phased antenna structure and controlling method thereof

An active phased array antenna system with hierarchical modularized architecture is introduced, which includes an array antenna and a beamforming circuit. The array antenna includes a plurality of antenna units, number of which is N and which are arranged in array form. Active phased array antenna system with hierarchical modularized architecture

A method for achieving multiple beam radiation vertical orthogonal field coverage by means of multiple feed-in dish antenna, comprising using a total metallic disc and plural feed-in antenna components, wherein it is possible to generate multiple sets of radiation beams by applying multiple sets of feed-in antenna components, and the coverage ranges created by different radiation beams may uniformly distribute there between so as to generate multiple communication service coverage areas. Moreover, since the field formed by the reflection of the total metallic disc is characterized in vertical orthogonality, advantages such as effectively increased coverage, improved energy utilization and radiation beam switches or the like can be provided.
