A cooperative transmission system and a cooperative transmission method used in multiple access points in a wireless local network are provided. The cooperative transmission system includes a plurality of access points, a clustering controller and at least one cluster controller. Each of the access points serves at least one user device within a serving range of the access point. The clustering controller clusters the access points into a plurality of clusters according to locations of the access points and the serving range. The at least one cluster controller controls cooperative synchronous downlink transmissions among all the access points within a cluster governed by the cluster controller, and the clusters, when intersecting with one another, employ an interference suppression mechanism to eliminate interference generated by the user devices or neighboring access points located in different clusters. Through the use of the cooperative communication technique and the interference suppression mechanism, the interference generated by a plurality of access points in a wireless local network due to overlapped basic service sets is avoided.

Cooperative transmission system and cooperative transmission method for multiple access points in a wireless local area

An access point (AP) and a communication system are provided. The access point comprises at least but not limited to a transceiver, a network connection unit, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured for the following steps. The AP receives channel access requests of the user equipments (UEs) from the UEs. Next, the AP transmits a channel request data according to QoS requirements of plurality of channel access requests of the UEs to the server. Afterward, the AP receives resource allocation information associated with the channel request data from the server, wherein the resource allocation information comprises an allocated result of physical channels and transmission power configurations. Subsequently, the AP allocates the physical channels to the UEs according to the QoS requirements of the channel access requests of the UEs and the resource allocation information.

Access point and communication system for resource allocation

A base station and a resource allocation method are provided. The method includes: calculating transmission rates of user equipment (UE) on unallocated resource blocks; finding consecutive resource block (RB) sets within the unallocated resource blocks according to a predetermined window size; finding minimum transmission rates of the UE among the transmission rates respectively corresponding to the consecutive RB sets; finding a largest value and a second largest value corresponding to each of the consecutive RB sets among the minimum transmission rates corresponding to the UE; calculating absolute difference values between the largest value and the second largest value corresponding to each of the consecutive RB sets; finding a maximum absolute difference value from the absolute difference values corresponding to the consecutive RB sets; and allocating the consecutive RB set corresponding to the maximum absolute difference value to the specific UE.

Resource allocation method for allocating resource blocks to several user equipment

The server receives location data of the access points (APs) and channel request data of the APs corresponding to the location data of the APs. The server groups the channel request data of the APs into clusters according to available physical channels of the APs and the channel request data of the APs. The server allocates the available physical channels of the APs for the channel request data of the APs and transmission power configurations on each of the allocated physical channels of the APs according to the channel request data and the location data of the APs in each of the clusters. The server transmits allocated results of the allocated physical channels of the APs for the channel request data of the APs and the transmission power configurations on each of the allocated physical channels of the APs.

Resource allocation server and communication system for cloud-based radio access network

A cognitive radio communication network is provided. The cognitive radio communication network includes a cloud and a wireless communication network. A communication system accessing to a backbone network is provided. The communication system includes a cloud and a wireless communication network connected to the cloud, and having a plurality of cognitive radio access points and a plurality of users, wherein the cloud performs the functions of network management, power control, and radio resource management.

Cognitive radio communication system and operating method thereof

A system and a method thereof for dynamically adjusting sleep/awake intervals of a wireless network device are provided. The system has at least one base station (BS) and at least one wireless network device. The system performs the method to dynamically adjust the sleep/awake intervals by properly delaying and combining delivery of data such that the wireless network device is turned into a sleep mode after finishing data delivery within an adjusted period. Thereby, the number of awake frames of a mobile subscriber station (MSS) can be reduced without sacrificing the quality of service (QoS).
