A method of fabricating a housing includes: providing a metal member including a base plate and a sidewall, the base plate having an inner surface connected to the sidewall; providing a filler having a connecting surface and a first top surface; fixing the filler onto the metal member to make the connecting surface connect to the inner surface and the first top surface to respectively form first and second included angles larger than 90 degrees and smaller than 180 degrees; providing a film attached with an ink layer, and then performing a process of In-Mold-Roller Injection Molding to form a plastic on the sidewall and the filler, the ink layer attached to the plastic; and removing a part of the filler and a part of the plastic at the sidewall to form a machined surface connected to the inner surface and the upper appearance surface.

Method of fabricating housing and housing

A receiving device for a global positioning system and an antenna structure thereof. The receiving device includes a housing, a circuit board and the antenna structure. The circuit board is disposed inside the housing and has a ground portion and a signal feeding portion. The antenna structure is disposed inside the housing and includes a metal plate, a first electric conducting element and a second electric conducting element. The metal plate is used for receiving a GPS signal. The first electric conducting element has one end coupled to the metal plate, and the other end coupled to the ground portion of the circuit board. The second electric conducting element for feeding the GPS signal to the circuit board has one end coupled to the metal plate, and the other end coupled to the signal feeding portion of the circuit board.

A handheld electronic device includes a first body, a second body, and a locating member. The second body is slidably connected to the first body, and has a slide surface and a locating opening. The locating opening is located at an end of the slide surface. A portable electronic device having an immovable body, a movable body, and a sliding module. The sliding module has a fixing frame fixed to the immovable body, a movable frame fixed to the movable body and slidably coupled to the fixing frame, and an elastic element having a fixing end fixed to the fixing frame and a movable end fixed to the movable frame. When the movable body slides with respect to the immovable body from a first position to a second position by the sliding module, the movable end relatively moves from a first stop position to a second stop position along a moving path. The distance from the orthographic projection of the fixing end on the moving path to the first stop position is larger than the distance from the orthographic projection of the fixing end on the moving path to the second stop position.

A handheld device includes a body, a back cover and a latch mechanism. The body has a back portion. The back cover coves the back portion. The latch mechanism is disposed between the body and the back portion to lock the back portion to the body. Reliving the lock connection between the body and the back cover performed by the latch mechanism causes the back cover is able to depart from the body.

A sliding mechanism is disclosed, wherein the sliding mechanism movably connects to a display module and an input module of an electronic device. The sliding mechanism includes a first member, a second member, a connection member, and a cover movably disposed on the first member. The first member is movable with respect to the second member and has an opening. A flexible printed circuit (FPC) of the electronic device is disposed through the opening and electronically connects to the display module and the input module. The connection member connects the first and second members at opposite sides thereof, and a middle portion of the connection member connects to the cover. When the first member slides with respect to the second member in a first direction, the connection member impels the cover to block a part of the opening.

A stylus-accommodating structure for a wireless communication apparatus includes a printed-circuit board (), a receiving block () and a planar antenna (). The receiving block further includes an outer surface () and a tunnel () for receiving a stylus (). By providing the planar antenna () to be formed on the outer surface of the receiving block and further the receiving block to be built at the printed-circuit board, the wireless communication apparatus equipped with the stylus-accommodating structure can then be presented more compact.

Stylus-accommodating structure for wireless communication apparatus

A slide-in structure () inside a cradle set () for accommodating a personal digital assistant (PDA) module () is disclosed. The slide-in structure comprises a base plate (), a sliding stand () and a pushing arm (). A connector () of the cradle set is fastened to the sliding stand via a circuit board (). The base plate has a pair of sidewalls () and two sliding grooves () located on of the sidewalls. The two ends of the sliding stand are inserted into the respective sliding grooves so that the sliding stand is free to move relative to the sliding grooves. The pushing arm is in contact with the sliding stand. The pushing arm resiliently pushes the sliding stand to one side of the sliding grooves and provides a buffering force when the PDA module engages with/disengages from the connector in the cradle set.

A personal digital assistant with static electricity preventing function, comprising: a metallic or electroplated chassis installed in the personal digital assistant serving as the grounding for the personal digital assistant; a touch panel module installed on the chassis; and a metallic shielding piece installed on the touch panel module and is equipped with a grounding section on the side, of which, the grounding section is connected to the chassis dispersing electrostatic charges, meanwhile, fixes the touch panel module firmly to the chassis.

Personal digital assistant with static electricity preventing function

A buckling-up structure for latching a battery lid () to a casing () of a PDA is disclosed. The battery lid () is used for covering a battery accommodation groove (). The structure comprises a latching lock () forming a plurality of wedging hooks () thereon, a plurality of wedging hooks () on two sides of the battery lid (), respectively. An elastic body () is used to exert a pushing force to the latching lock. An operation button () is secured to the latching lock, whereby when the operation button is moved the latching lock and the elastic body move correspondingly. When the battery lid is locked to the casing, the wedging hooks () engage in recessing holes () of the casing, and the wedging hooks () engage with the wedging hooks (). To release the lock between the battery lid and the casing, the operation button is motivate to move the latching lock whereby the engagement between the wedging hooks () and the wedging hooks () is released; thus, the battery lid can be removed from the casing. A stylus accommodation groove () is formed in the casing between the battery accommodation groove and latching lock.

Buckling-up structure for battery lid of electronic device

A protective cover with ternary structure applied in an electronic product comprises a conjoint plate, a flexible plate connected to the conjoint plate, and a fastening plate connected to the flexible plate. The fastening plate snaps the bottom cover for covering the expansion slot of the electronic product. Also, the conjoint plate, the flexible plate, and the fastening plate are integrated as a whole by double injection technique, and the flexibility of the flexible plate controls the protective cover being closed or opened.

Protective cover with ternary structure

A power switch apparatus is disclosed wherein the switch apparatus is applicable in an electronic product comprising a switch device capable of being switched between ON and OFF conditions. The power switch apparatus comprises an active element and a flexible arm. The active element installed inside the electronic product comprises a first connector and is coupled to the switch device. The ON and OFF conditions of the switch device correspond to the different positions of the active element. The flexible arm comprises a second connector and a contactor. The second connector is used to clip with the first connector at the ON condition. The electronic product is configured such that the contactor is not covered and remains accessible. The movement of the contactor is able to transform the shape of the flexible arm and to release the clipping relation between the first connector and the second connector.
