A gas service riser assembly and ductile pipe to plastic pipe transition connection is provided. The gas service riser assembly comprises an outer ductile pipe, a plastic pipe having open ends disposed within the outer ductile pipe and extending through one end thereof, a hollow rigid stiffener disposed within the interior of a portion of the plastic pipe within the outer ductile pipe, a gasket positioned around the exterior of the plastic pipe adjacent to the stiffener, and a crimp formed in the outer ductile pipe adjacent to the stiffener and the gasket whereby the outer ductile pipe is compressed against the gasket, plastic pipe and the stiffener to form a seal.

An adjustable meter loop assembly for connecting a gas meter to a gas supply line and a gas service line which includes a gas inlet conduit, a gas outlet conduit, and an adjustable brace. The gas inlet conduit is connectable to a gas inlet of the gas meter and the gas supply line. The gas outlet conduit is connectable to a gas outlet of the gas meter and the gas service line. The adjustable brace connects the gas inlet conduit to the gas outlet conduit. At least one of the gas inlet conduit and the gas outlet conduit is rotatable so as to permit the position of a second end of one of the gas inlet conduit and the gas outlet conduit to be selectively altered.

Adjustable meter loop assembly

A meter loop frame assembly for connecting a gas meter to a gas supply line and a gas service line. The meter loop frame assembly includes a gas inlet conduit, a gas outlet conduit, and a brace. The gas inlet conduit is shaped and oriented such that the gas supply line is connectable to a second end of the gas inlet conduit at a location on the rear side of the gas meter and substantially vertically aligned with the centerline of the gas meter so that a pressure regulator of the gas supply line is substantially obstructed from view from a position on the front side of the gas meter.

The tube,is swaged down forming a swage groove,around the retainer sleeve,compressing the gasket,to a large extent over the lands,and a lesser extent over the grooves,the ideal compression for the gasket,being arranged somewhere between such degrees of compression. By this means the ideal degree of compression at some regions of the gasket,forming an annulus around the retainer sleeve,is guaranteed, despite tolerances in the dimensions of the tube,(especially) as well as the band,and sleeve
