A lighting device includes a first and second housing; the first housing has an inner threading and a first protrusion. The lighting device includes a second housing having an outer threading and a second protrusion. A user advances one protrusion over the other in order to activate the lighting device. The lighting device also includes an arm that is part of the first housing and a post that is part of the second housing. The arm and post prevent the first housing from rotating to a point where the threading of the housings release. The arm may be flexed inwards to prevent allow for the release of the first housing.

Personal lighting device

A personal lighting device includes a first housing including a light projection portion including an inner threading and a first protrusion. It further includes a second housing including a lighting mechanism cavity, an outer threading, a second protrusion, and a third protrusion; the second and third protrusions having a first space and a second space between the second and third protrusion, the second housing interconnected with the first housing via the threading, the first protrusion having a first and second position, the first position between the second and third protrusion in the first space, and the second position in the second space. The personal lighting device further includes a battery, a printed circuit board, and a light emitting diode such that when the first protrusion is in the first position, the LED is not activated; and when the first protrusion is in the second position, the LED is activated.

A customized light module comprising is provided according to one embodiment of this disclosure. The customized light module, according to this embodiment, includes a housing, a light source, a removable decorative cap and a battery. The housing includes a stem configured to secure the customized light module within an aperture of an article of footwear. The light source is coupled with the housing. The decorative cap may be removably coupled with the housing and may be configured to illuminate when the light source is illuminates. The battery may be accessibly secured within the housing with a two-stage mechanism. The two-stage mechanism, for example, may include a child lock. In some embodiments, the housing has at least two configurations: a first configuration and a second configuration. A circuit is created between the battery and the light source in the first configuration and closed in the second configuration.

Illuminating footwear accessory

A portable device for stabilizing an arm or hand of a person. The device includes a stabilizer shaft having a peripheral section and a mating section, a stabilizer coupled with the peripheral section of the stabilizer shaft and configured to engage the arm or hand of the person, a base shaft having a peripheral section and a mating section and in slidable arrangement with the stabilizer shaft, an attachment assembly in cooperative association with the mating section of the stabilizer shaft and the mating section of the base shaft, and a garment clip coupled with the peripheral section of the base shaft. Methods of using and constructing a portable device for stabilizing an arm or a hand of a person are also provided.

Camera holder and methods

A flashlight support device having a hollow open body that has at least one open end and is designed to removably fit over the body of a flashlight. Attached in substantially diametric opposition adjacent to one open end is at least one pair of separate legs for rotation in the Y-axis. Each leg is comprised of a bendable material and is capable of being bent, without any additional mechanism, into substantially any position and configuration in the X and Z-axis. A rotation mechanism and the adjustable and bendable legs attached thereto allows each rotatable and bendable leg to be rotated into a number of incremental positions in the Y-axis over a range of a full 360&deg;. In preferred embodiments, the flashlight support device has two opposed open ends, and there are at least two pairs of adjustable and bendable legs attached to the hollow body for rotation in the Y-axis.

Flashlight support device

The invention provides an exemplary barbell holder and methods for its use. In an exemplary embodiment, a barbell holder comprises a base member having at least one region that is adapted to hold a weight. A coupling mechanism is operably attached to the base member. The coupling mechanism is adapted to removably couple a barbell to the base member.

Barbell holder and methods for its use

The invention provides an exemplary barbell system and methods for its use and construction. The barbell system comprises a handle having a pair of ends, and a pair of end pieces which are receivable into each of the ends. The end pieces are adapted to couple a weight to the handle. A releasable coupling mechanism is provided at each of the ends to releasably couple each end piece to the handle. Further, a locking mechanism is provided and is receivable about the handle to lock the coupling mechanism in a locked position.

Locking system for barbells

An enhanced sight marker apparatus for slingshots, bows, and other projectile launching devices includes a support block with a trough for mounting and retaining an elongated, fluorescent optical fiber. The trough is deep enough to receive a substantial portion of the fluorescent optical fiber for support while leaving some portion of the peripheral surface of the optical fiber unshielded by the support block for exposure to ambient electromagnetic radiation, and the support block also leaves at least one end of the fluorescent optical fiber exposed and visible so that light transmitted in the core of the optical can be propagated from the exposed end to a user's eye.

Enhanced sight marker apparatus

A sling shot includes a basic Y-shaped frame including a handle, two upstanding yoke branches, and two elastic sling straps extending between a respective yoke branch and a pouch for receiving a projectile to be propelled. The upper end of each yoke branch is provided with a connector member rotatably connected thereto, the rotation of each connector member preferably limited to about 180 degrees. Each connector member includes an elongated prong to receive an elastic strap. When the elastic straps are stretched rearward, the connector members will rotate so that the elongated prongs are in line with their respective elastic straps. When the elastic straps are released to propel a projectile, the forward movement will cause the connector members to pivot so that the elongated prongs will remain in line with the ends of their respective elastic straps, thus preventing the elastic straps from going into twists or kinks. Each connector member may also include a strut with a sight bead which is visible in the sight window when the straps are pulled rearward, to assist in aiming.

Pivotal sling strap connectors and sights for slingshots

A folding slingshot having a yolk, a hand grip and elastic members connected to said yolk. A wrist brace is frictionally, detachably and pivotably mounted to the hand grip near the base thereof. Said wrist brace comprises a pair of longitudinal members diverging rearwardly from the hand grip and spaced apart to receive the wrist between them and an end member integral with said longitudinal members engageable with the user's wrist. A groove is on each side of said handle near the base thereof for receipt of end portions of said longitudinal members. A protruding stop member on said hand grip overhanges each of said grooves and prevents further rotation of said wrist brace. A cam area on said hand grip below each of said grooves containing two spaced apart cam surfaces; said end portions of the longitudinal members encountering said cam surface upon rotation toward said grooves, thereby spreading slightly said longitudinal members so that after passing over said cam surfaces said end portions of the longitudinal members snap into said grooves and rest against said respective stop members to lock said wrist brace in shooting position.
