A recessed light fixture has a heat sink and a removable light engine assembly. A thermally conductive base of the light engine assembly has an LED and has a thermal interface adapted for thermal coupling to a thermal interface of the heat sink. A mechanical connector in the enclosure can connect the base of the light engine assembly to the heat sink and couple the thermal interfaces of the light engine assembly and heat sink. The base of the light engine assembly is insertable through an opening in the ceiling aligned and can be urged into connected and disconnected states, from within the room, with a minimal clearance between the opening in the ceiling and the base, whereby the light engine assembly can be replaced or serviced from within the room without disturbing the ceiling and without the use of a large diameter trim.

A recessed lighting fixture for installation in an inclined ceiling has an enclosure and a lighting assembly pivotal relative to the enclosure through a first and second range of relative angles such that an optical axis can be aligned vertically for the first and second ranges. First and second trim element are adapted for use with the first and second ranges of inclinations. The first and second trim elements have optical element aligned at different angles, and a relative angle between the optical elements and the reflector plane is less than or equal to 10 degrees. An angle indicator provides a proper relative angle of the lighting assembly and a trim indicator provides an indication of a proper trim element.

A lighting module for a recessed light fixture has a housing and a light module body movably coupled to the housing by a linkage. In an intermediate tilted position, an optical axis of the light module body is aligned at a first angle relative to a Y axis, and in a fully-tilted limit position, the optical axis is aligned at a second angle relative to the Y axis. Movement of the light module body relative to the housing includes rotation about a Z axis and translation parallel to X and Y axes. During movement of the light module body relative to the housing a first lateral section of a peripheral edge defining an opening of the light module body remains substantially parallel to the Z axis and maintains a substantially constant perpendicular distance from the X axis.

Adjustable light module for light fixture

A light fixture has a frame with an aperture and an enclosure having a driver compartment and a junction compartment. The enclosure is movable relative to the frame. In an operation position, the driver and junction compartments are laterally displaced from the aperture and a lighting module is mountable in the aperture from a room-facing side of the light fixture. In a service position, an opening of the driver compartment is laterally aligned with the aperture such that the lighting driver is removably mountable in the driver compartment through the aperture and the opening of the driver compartment, from the room-facing side of the light fixture. In an inspection position, an opening of the junction compartment is laterally aligned with the aperture, and an interior of the junction compartment is visible through the aperture and the opening of the junction compartment, from a room-facing side of the light fixture.

A light fixture has a mount to attach the light fixture to a support structure. A yoke is connected to the mount and is operable to rotate relative to the mount at least 360 degrees about a rotation axis passing through an illumination aperture of the light fixture. A lamp is connected to the yoke and is operable to rotate with the yoke about the rotation axis. A proximal end of a junction box is connected to the yoke and is operable to rotate at least 360 degrees relative to the yoke about the rotation axis, to maintain a rotational orientation of the junction box relative to the mount during rotation of the yoke and lamp. The junction box is operable to pivot relative to the yoke, about a pivot axis perpendicular to the rotation axis and to contact the support structure on a distal free end portion.

An apparatus is disclosed for determining indentor work travel movement of crimping apparatus and a method of controlling a system for hydraulically crimping electrical connectors is also disclosed.
