A handheld device for delivering therapeutic light toward an eye of a patient includes a device housing that is configured to be held by a user in delivering the therapeutic light, a plurality of light sources disposed within the device housing, and an array of lenses disposed near the distal end of the device housing. Each light source is configured to independently emit a beam of therapeutic light and each lens of the array is aligned with a respective light source so that each beam of therapeutic light that is emitted from the respective light sources is focused and directed by the respective lenses of the array to target tissue of the eye in order to therapeutically treat to the target tissue.

Method and apparatus for cyclo-scanner using surface emitting lasers or LEDs

In some embodiments, a system for providing a therapeutic treatment to a patient's eye includes a treatment beam source configured to transmit a treatment beam along a treatment beam path. The system further includes a processor coupled to the treatment beam source, the processor being configured to direct the treatment beam onto retinal tissue of the patient's eye and deliver a series of short duration pulses from the treatment beam onto the retinal tissue at a first treatment spot to treat the retinal tissue. In some embodiments, a pre-treatment evaluation method using electroretinography (ERG) data may be used to predict effects of treatment beams at different power values and to determine optimal power values.

Methods and systems for large spot retinal laser treatment

In some embodiments, an ophthalmic laser system may be provided that does not include a traditional laser console. Instead, the treatment device may be configured to house the treatment light source within the device handle. Additionally, in some embodiments, the handheld treatment device may include a user interface, such as dials and buttons, for adjusting various parameters of the therapeutic light. With certain embodiments, the self-contained handheld treatment device may be operated independent of an AC power source. For example, in some embodiments, the handheld treatment device may be battery powered. Certain embodiments may be particularly designed for transscleral cyclophotocoagulation. A treatment probe for treating an eye of a patient includes an elongate body that defines a handle and a treatment fiber that is housed within the elongate body. The treatment fiber is configured to deliver treatment light energy to the eye. A contact member is disposed on an end of the elongate body. The contact member has a contact surface for positioning on a surface of the eye, two side edges that are positioned on opposite sides of the contact surface, and a fluid channel. The contact surface conforms to the shape of the eye's sclera and the two side edges are shaped to direct fluid that is present on the surface of the eye toward the fluid channel when the contact member is moved laterally across the surface of the eye. The fluid aggregates within the fluid channel and contacts a distal end of the treatment fiber.

A lens or eye mask for treating an eye of a patient includes a flexible printed circuit board (PCB) that is configured to fit over at least a portion of a surface of the eye and a plurality of electrode pairs that are arranged on the flexible PCB. An electrical source is configured to provide electrical energy to each electrode pair to create a near electromagnetic field within the eye and thereby therapeutically treat target tissue within the eye. A spacing between electrodes of each electrode pair is controlled to achieve a predetermined penetration depth of the near electromagnetic field within the eye.

Electrical methods and devices for ophthalmic treatment

A light based system for treating an eye includes a mask that is configured for positioning on the eye and a light source that is configured to deliver therapeutic light. The mask has an inner surface that is positionable against the eye and an outer surface that is opposite the inner surface. The mask is optically opaque to prevent transmission of light through the mask and the mask includes at least one transparent opening that allows transmission of light through the mask to target tissue of the eye posterior the transparent opening. The light source is positioned relative to the mask so that the delivered therapeutic light irradiates at least a portion of the mask and the transparent opening. Therapeutic light traverses through the transparent opening to the target tissue positioned posterior the transparent opening.

An infusion system includes an intravenous pole, a pump device, a power supply device, a computer processing device, and conduit. The intravenous pole includes a bottom portion adjacent a bottom end, an upper portion adjacent a top end, and a hollow shaft. The pump device is attached to the upper portion of the intravenous pole. The power supply device is attached to the bottom portion of the intravenous pole. The computer processing device is attached to the bottom portion of the intravenous pole. The conduit extends within the hollow shaft of the intravenous pole. The conduit connects the pump device, the power supply device, and the computer processing device.

Visualization for presenting event information indicative of a computer security threat is automatically selected from available visualizations. Event information received from data sources is assigned a category prior to being stored in an event log. The event log may be searched for relevant event information using the assigned categories. Visualizations applicable to the relevant event information are retrieved and given an importance score, which may be based on execution of prioritization algorithms using corresponding relevant event information. The retrieved visualizations are ranked based on their importance scores. One or more retrieved visualizations that have the best importance scores relative to other retrieved visualization are selected for rendering.
