Various aspects of the disclosure relate to modular sill systems for sliding panel doors and windows, collectively 'sliding fenestration units.' In various examples, modular sill systems include multiple separate and distinct base components that provide tracks on which one or more panels are able to slide.

An insulated glass assembly includes a first pane of translucent, obscure, or transparent sheet material, a second pane of translucent, obscure, or transparent sheet material spaced apart from the first pane, a perimeter spacer positioned between the first and second panes and extending around the perimeter of the panes, and an internal divider disposed between the first and second spaced apart panes. The internal divider is spaced from the first pane and second panes of sheet material to form a first gap and a second gap therebetween. The insulated glass assembly further includes a first spring element and a second element within the gaps between the internal divider and the first and second spaced apart panes. The first spring element and the second element combine to bias the internal divider against contact with either of the first and second spaced apart panes.

An IG unit includes a perimeter structure having a port, a first pane supported by the perimeter structure, a second pane supported by the perimeter structure opposite the first pane with an interior space defined between the first and second panes that is sealed and connected to the port, and a membrane valve assembly adapted to act as a self-sealing access to the port. The membrane valve assembly optionally includes a first sealant layer, a second membrane layer, and a third sealant layer, for example.

A slatted blind (10) includes a headrail (12) with a pair of ladder cords (16, 18) depending therefrom with slats (14) supported on the wefts (44, 52) extending between the warps (42a,b, 50a,b) of each cord and further includes a tilt mechanism (20) to extend one warp of each cord and to retract the other in order to tilt the slats. The preferred tilt mechanism (20) includes a pair of slides (60, 62) positioned on the bottom wall (26) of the headrail (12). The ends of the warps (42a,b, 50a,b) are coupled with the slides (60, 62) on opposed sides of respective cord holes (82, 90) defined through the slides (60, 62) and extend therethrough and also through respective cord openings (30, 32) in the bottom wall. Back and forth shifting of the slides (60, 62) along the bottom wall (26) alternately extend one warp of each cord and retract the other in order to tilt the slats.
