A two-piece optical prism includes a prism having a groove and prism having arc faces, where the prism having a groove has at least one first arc face and groove having at least one second arc face, and the prism having arc faces is placed in the groove of the prism having a groove and has at least one third arc face. The present invention can be used in the surface plasmon resonance optical system for the angle, range adjustment and control of incident light (e.g. laser light), capable of constituting an optical wide-angle, multi-angle incident system to carry out the wide-angle, multi-angle scanning detection of surface plasmon resonance, increasing the system dynamic detection range and sensitivity; and further reducing a detection chip.

Two-piece optical prism

The present invention provides a prism. The prism includes a lower surface, an upper surface, a first side surface and a second side surface. The first side surface and the second side surface are disposed between the upper surface and the lower surface. The first side surface and the second side surface of the prism are one-dimensional parabolic surfaces. The lower surface is used to receive light. The first side surface is used to reflect the light from the lower surface to the upper surface. The second side surface is used to reflect the light from the upper surface to the lower surface for further analysis in the process unit afterwards.

Coupling prism and optical detection system thereof

The present invention provides an optical detection system in which a first mirror of the control unit is used to receive light beam and redirect it into a first one-dimensional off-axis parabolic mirror. The first one-dimensional off-axis parabolic mirror then directs the light beam to a cylindrical lens. Through the mechanism of reflection, the cylindrical lens further directs the light beam to a second one-dimensional off-axis parabolic mirror. The second one-dimensional off-axis parabolic mirror then directs the light beam into a second mirror. The detection unit of the system is used to detect the light beam coming from the control unit, so as to convert the light signals into electric signals for the analysis in the process unit afterwards.

Optical detection system

The present invention provides a method for detecting a drug resistant microorganism by surface plasmon resonance (SPR). Values of SPR angle shift (V) and the drop of SPR angle shift (D) of control group (Vand D) and sample (Vand D) can determine the microorganism is drug resistant by identifying (I) ration of V/Vlarger than 1.001, (II) ration of D/Dlarger than 1.001 and (III) the SPR angle shift of the sample more smooth or monotonic that that of the control. The present invention further provides SPR as a device used for the method of the present invention.
