A tuning/detuning structure and a detuning method for an RF coil use an RF power source, a first impedance circuit, a first RF line, and a first port having a first guide leg end and a first input end, with the first guide leg end being connected to a first end ring capacitance of the RF coil. When the RF coil needs to be detuned, the first input end is connected to the first impedance circuit via the first RF line. When the RF coil needs to transmit an RF pulse signal, the first input end is connected to the RF power source via the first RF line. The need for a switch element is thereby reduced as is harm resulting from breakdown of such a switch element. An impedance circuit can be combined with a switch element to realize detuning jointly, and a good detuning effect can be achieved by a small number of switch elements.

Tuning/detuning circuit and detuning method for an RF coil

An end ring port structure of an atypical coil for a magnetic resonance imaging system, has an end ring, provided with multiple end ring capacitance positions for disposing equivalent capacitances, with a portion of the equivalent capacitances being formed by two or more split capacitors. A first port has a first leg and a second leg, which are each connected to the end ring. A second port has a third leg and a fourth leg, which are each connected to the end ring. A first capacitor bank is arranged on the end ring between an end ring connection point of the first leg and an end ring connection point of the second leg. The first capacitor bank has at least two capacitors not all belonging to the same end ring capacitance position. A second capacitor bank is arranged on the end ring between an end ring connection point of the third leg and an end ring connection point of the fourth leg. The second capacitor bank has at least two capacitors not all belonging to the same end ring capacitance position.

End ring port structure of an atypical radio-frequency coil of a magnetic resonance imaging system

A debugging device for a body coil of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system includes a pair of output ports connected to a pair of input ports of the body coil. The debugging device also includes a pair of input ports connected to a pair of output ports of the MRI system. The debugging device includes a pair of extension circuits, separately connected between the pair of input ports and the pair of output ports; and a first adjustment capacitor for reducing or eliminating coupling between the pair of input ports. The first adjustment capacitor is bridged between the pair of input ports, and the capacitance of the first adjustment capacitor is variable.
