A focus adjustable method of an optical image is implemented by a numerical analysis. An external light beam is allowed to pass through a lens module, thereby generating an optical image. The focus values of the optical image at four corners thereof are computed according to specified formulas to obtain a two-dimensional geometric tilt vector T(X,Y), an image diagonal spinor D and an image tetragonal average value M. According to the values T(X,Y), D and M, the tilt amount and the tilt direction of the lens module are adjusted, the optical quality of the lens module is discriminated and the focus value distribution of the lens module is determined.

Focus adjustable method of optical image

An optical pointer includes a housing, a movable plate, a manipulable member and a displacement detecting unit. The movable plate is disposed in the housing and has a recognizable pattern. The manipulable member is manipulated by a user to transmit the movable plate to effect two-dimensional movement inside the housing. The displacement detecting unit is disposed in the housing for optically detecting the recognizable pattern of the moveable plate, and generating a control signal indicative of a displacement of the movable plate according to detected image change of the recognizable pattern.

Optical computer pointer and optical cursor/frame control method

A detection method for detecting quality of an optical element includes the following steps. Firstly, a point light source is provided. Then, the point light source is allowed to penetrate through the optical element, thereby forming a first optical image on an optical image processing device. Then, the position of the optical element is adjusted when there is a shade block included in the first optical image, and the point light source is allowed to penetrate through the optical element after the adjusting step, thereby forming a second optical image on the optical image processing device. Afterward, the first optical image is compared with the second optical image to discriminate whether the shade block is synchronously moved with position adjustment of the optical element so as to realize the quality of the optical element.
