Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for early termination of an uplink transmission. One method includes starting to transmit a first uplink transmission with a first duration in a beginning of a CO period. The method includes determining to terminate the first uplink transmission earlier than an end of the first duration based on: repetitions associated with the first uplink transmission; or a duration of overlapping CG resources. The first uplink transmission can be sent in any of the overlapping CG resources, and each of the overlapping CG resources is associated with a different CG configuration than a CG configuration associated with another overlapping CG resource. The method includes terminating the first uplink transmission earlier than the end of the first duration.

Early termination of an uplink transmission

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for supporting acknowledgements for DL data transmitted on UL resources. One apparatus in a mobile communication network includes a processor and a transceiver that receives signaling information from a RAN node to schedule a first set of PDSCH resources and a first set of corresponding PUSCH resources, where the information to schedule the first set of PDSCH resources and the first set of PUSCH resources is transmitted in a same slot. The processor determines feedback information for a PDSCH transmission received from the RAN node using the first set of PDSCH resources and controls the transceiver to send feedback information for the PDSCH transmission to the RAN node using the first set of PUSCH resources.

Transmitting feedback information

A PUCCH configuration including information of at least one PUCCH resource can be received () at a UE. An UL grant for at least one high-priority PUSCH can be received (). The UL grant can indicate the UE to include a CSI report in the at least one high-priority PUSCH. A particular PUSCH of the at least one high-priority PUSCH can overlap with a PUCCH resource of the at least one PUCCH resource. A determination can be made () as to whether there is UCI to transmit on the PUCCH resource. The particular PUSCH can be transmitted () according to the UL grant by including the CSI report in the particular PUSCH when there is UCI to transmit on the PUCCH resource.

Method and apparatus for transmitting information on an uplink channel

Methods and apparatus are provided, in which a downlink (DL) grant is received () triggering an aperiodic channel state information (ACSI) report and a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission being scheduled. A first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource for ACSI transmission and a second PUCCH resource for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgment (ACK) transmission corresponding to the scheduled PDSCH are determined (). A first PUCCH transmission power for the ACSI transmission using the first PUCCH resource and a second transmission power for the HARQ ACK transmission using the second PUCCH resource are determined () based on downlink control information (DCI) of the DL grant.

Aperiodic channel state information for ultra-reliable low-latency communication

Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for video codec importance indication and RAN awareness configuration. An apparatus includes a processor that detects a plurality of video coded network abstraction layer ('NAL') units of a video coded stream, extracts semantic information associated with the plurality of the NAL units, combines the extracted semantic information associated with the plurality of NAL units to form a plurality of feature sets that is correspondingly synchronized with the plurality of NAL units that enclose the extracted semantic information, determines an information-to-importance value for each of the plurality of NAL units based on the plurality of feature sets without performing video decoding of the video coded stream, and indicates the determined information-to-importance value for each of the plurality of NAL units of the determined video codec specification to a video coded traffic-aware transceiver for scheduling video traffic based on the indicated information-to-importance value.

Video codec importance indication and radio access network awareness configuration

First information of a DL assignment for a first PDSCH of a serving cell can be received (). A first PUCCH resource and a second PUCCH resource can be identified () for HARQ-ACK feedback of the first PDSCH. A starting symbol of the second PUCCH resource can be later than a starting symbol of the first PUCCH resource. Second information of a DL assignment for a second PDSCH of the serving cell can be received (). A starting symbol of the second PDSCH can be later than a starting symbol of the first PDSCH. A determination can be made () as to whether to delay the HARQ-ACK feedback of the first PDSCH for processing of the second PDSCH. HARQ-ACK information of the first PDSCH can be transmitted () on the second PUCCH resource in response to determining to delay the HARQ-ACK feedback of the first PDSCH.

An apparatuses for radio access network configuration for video approximate semantic communications includes a transceiver that receives from a transmitter a bitstream corresponding to a video coded data transmission wherein the received bitstream includes bitwise transmission errors and a processor that performs FEC decoding and correcting at least one bitwise transmission error of the video coded data transmission whereas at least one bitwise transmission error is left in a bit-inexact reception of the video coded data transmissions post FEC decoding, applies, by a smart video decoder in a video approximate semantic communications mode, semantic error correction to decoded video coded data transmissions to correct and conceal one or more video artifacts in response to the bit-inexact reception of the video coded data transmissions post FEC decoding, and reconstructs a video uncoded representation of concealed approximate semantic content relative to the received bitstream corresponding to the video coded data transmission.

Various aspects relate to a device that receives a configured uplink grant from a base station for semi-persistent uplink transmissions, receives a configuration for a retransmission timer, receives a configuration of a next-generation NodeB (gNB) fixed frame period (FFP) for semi-static channel access in a shared spectrum, detects a downlink transmission burst within gNB-FFP, and obtains a medium access control protocol data unit for a configured uplink transmission that includes a first physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission. A communications manager establishes that a hybrid automatic repeat request process associated with the first PUSCH transmission is pending so as to preclude performance of the first PUSCH transmission in response to determinations that the first PUSCH transmission is associated with a gNB channel occupancy time (COT), there is a time gap between the downlink transmission burst within the gNB-COT, and the first PUSCH transmission is smaller than a time gap threshold.

Communication operations in a shared spectrum

A configuration of a set of subslots within a slot can be received, each of one or more subslots of the set of subslots can have a time interval within the slot. A downlink channel transmission can be received. The downlink channel transmission can carry a DCI format that schedules a first uplink channel transmission.
