The invention relates to a cable drum for a cable winch of a cable drive, having a drum body and two guard plates which surround the drum body on the face sides and delimit a winding space therebetween, wherein at least one of the guard plates has at least one inner wall part which is adjustable axially in the direction of the drum longitudinal axis such that the distance between the guard plates is adjustable.

A hoist drum for a fiber rope drive for high-strength fiber ropes such as crane hoists, boom adjustment or trolley traveling gear, and the like, comprising a drum body for winding up the fiber rope, guard plates encompassing the drum body, and a rope end fastening apparatus for fastening a rope end to the hoist drum. The rope end fastening apparatus of the hoist drum comprises two strand guiding passages that are disposed next to one another and that lead to a rope deflection element at which the rope end can be turned around and back so that one respective rope strand comes to lie in the two strand guiding passages; and furthermore comprises a clamping apparatus associated with the strand guiding passages for clamping at least the rope strand that is turned back around the rope deflection element in the strand guiding passage associated with the rope strand.

An arrangement for detecting the discard state of a high-strength fiber rope when used on such hoists, with a device for determining at least one rope parameter and an evaluation unit for evaluating the rope parameter, and providing a discard signal depending upon the evaluation of the rope parameter. The present invention relates generally to rope drives working with high-strength fiber ropes such as crane hoists, boom adjustment gear, trolley traveling gear, etc. The invention in this respect in particular applies to hoist drums for the rope hoist winch of such a fiber rope drive having a drum jacket body which is provided with grooving at the peripheral side and having two guard plates adjacent to the drum jacket body at the end sides. The invention further relates to a rope pulley for such a fiber rope drive having a rotatably supported pulley body whose jacket surface has at least one rope groove. In accordance with the invention, the rope grooves have a flat-pressed, round groove contour which differs from the circular and which has a larger radius of curvature in the region of the groove base than in the region of the groove flanks adjacent thereto.

Hoist drum and rope pulley for fiber rope drives

The present invention relates to a swivel for the reduction of twist of a rope, having two swivel parts which are rotatable with respect to one another in the longitudinal direction of the rope, wherein a rotary drive is provided for the forced rotation of the two parts with respect to one another. In accordance with the invention, at least one direction of rotation measurement unit is provided at the swivel for the detection of the direction of twist of the rope with respect to the swivel, wherein the rotary drive can be controlled by a control apparatus in dependence on the determined direction of twist such that the swivel part connected to the rope is rotated in the direction of the detected direction of twist.

The present invention generally relates to lifting gears such as cranes which use ropes such as high-strength fiber ropes. The invention in particular relates to a device for determining the discard state of such rope in use on such lifting gears, comprising a detection device for detecting at least one rope utilization parameter influencing the discard state and an evaluation unit for evaluating the rope utilization parameter and for providing a discard signal in dependence on the rope utilization parameter evaluation. According to the invention the detection unit has at least one detecting means for detecting environmental influences on the rope, which can be evaluated by evaluation devices to recognize the discard state.

The present invention relates generally to lifting gear such as cranes which use high-strength fiber ropes instead of steel ropes. In this respect, the invention in particular relates to an apparatus for recognizing the discard state of a high-strength fiber rope in use at such lifting gear comprising a detection device for detecting at least one rope parameter as well as comprising an evaluation unit for evaluating the rope parameter and for providing a discard signal in dependence on the rope parameter evaluation. In accordance with the invention, the detection device of the apparatus for recognizing the discard state comprises a plurality of differently configured detection means for a magnetic, mechanical, optical and/or electronic detection of a plurality of different rope parameters which can be evaluated by the evaluation unit individually and/or in combination with one another for recognizing the discard state.

Apparatus for recognizing the discard state of a high-strength fiber rope in use in lifting gear

The present invention relates generally to hoists such as cranes which instead of steel wire ropes use high-strength fiber ropes. The invention relates in particular to an arrangement for detecting the discard state of a high-strength fiber rope when used on such hoists, with a means for detecting at least one rope parameter and an evaluation unit for evaluating the rope parameter, and providing a discard signal depending upon the evaluation of the rope parameters. According to the invention, the detection means comprises torsional stiffness detection means to determine the torsional stiffness of the rope, whereby the evaluation unit provides the discard signal depending on the determined torsional stiffness of the rope.

The present invention relates to a crane boom for transport as container freight which can be assembled from a plurality of boom parts which each have coupling pieces at the front face end for the putting together of the boom parts, wherein the boom parts each have at least one bottom chord and can be placed next to one another such that the bottom chords of the boom parts together form a continuous runway free of offset and faults for a crab. The invention further relates to a transport apparatus for the transport of boom parts of a crane boom of this type as container freight. In accordance with the invention, the boom parts of the crane boom, despite the identical bottom chord track dimensions which provide a runway for a normal crab on the bottom chords largely free of offset and faults, have different cross-sections such that the boom parts can be pushed into one another for the purpose of transport, whereby the space in the boom parts is also utilized.
