A fastening arrangement fits a vehicle lamp in a receptive trim element and has at least two holders protruding from the lamp in the peripheral region of a diffusing screen. The holders are spaced apart and, when the lamp is installed, are fixed to associated holders of the trim element. One of the protruding holders, as the lamp is inserted, is able to be put together with the associated holder of the trim element, and having the plug connection secured by a screw fastening. The lamp, as it is inserted into the trim element, is conveyed into its installation position by a longitudinal displacement motion essentially parallel to the principal extent of the diffusing screen to eliminate the need for the frame opening in the trim element to be overdimensioned relative to the lamp. Each holder protruding from the lamp in the peripheral region of the diffusing screen extends in the sliding direction and is put together with its associated holder on the trim element. The screw-connectable holders, once the lamp is displaced into its installation position, are disposed behind the lamp to be accessible by a screwing tool.

Fastening arrangement for a vehicle lamp

The headlight has a reflector which is mounted inside a casing for swiveling about a swivel axis extending approximately in a horizontal center plane of the reflector, close to the apex region of the latter. The front edge, pointing in the light emission direction, of the reflector has an at least approximately circular arc shape in planes at right angles to the swivel axis and the center point thereof is arranged at least approximately on the swivel axis. The casing has a part whose edge pointing opposite to the light emission direction adjoins the front edge of the reflector and, in planes at right angles to the swivel axis, likewise has an at least approximately circular arc shape, and whose center point is arranged at least approximately on the swivel axis. Because of this design the gap between the casing part edge and the front edge of the reflector can be kept small, since when the reflector makes a swiveling movement about the swivel axis, the gap varies only slightly or not at all.

The headlight has a reflector mounted inside a casing and swivelable about an axis by an adjustment element rotatably mounted in the casing. The adjustment element has a portion formed eccentrically to its axis of rotation. In the casing a transmission element is mounted for swiveling about an axis and is swivelably connected to the reflector. The transmission element has a recess in which the eccentric portion of the adjustment element is received, so that the transmission element is coupled, in the tangential direction relative to the axis about which it is swivelable in the casing, to the eccentric portion. On rotation of the adjustment element the reflector is swiveled about the swivel axis and the magnitude of the swiveling movement of the reflector is determined by the magnitude of the eccentricity of the portion and the lever ratios of the transmission element.

A headlight for a power vehicle has a housing connectable with a vehicle body, a holding frame accommodated in the housing adjustably relative to the latter and a reflector which is turnably connectable with the holding frame and turnable outwardly from a position in which it is arrested with the holding frame. The reflector has a rear side and is provided with light sources insertable into the rear side of the reflector. The housing has a rear upper side and is provided at the rear upper side with an opening. The reflector is turnable about a horizontal axis extending in its upper region so that the rear side of the reflector with the light sources is turnable toward the opening from the holding frame.

A headlamp casing of a motor-vehicle headlamp is disclosed which is connected to an inner reflector receiving a bulb centrally in a bore and which is fastened pivotably and centrally in a trough of a body receptacle. The headlamp casing has a tubular extension which projects centrally from the outer face and is connected through an orifice in the receptacle to a fastening part and through the bore of which a headlamp bulb can be drawn out of the reflector bore from the rear side of the receptacle.

Motor vehicle headlamp

A headlamp for motor vehicles exhibits a diffuser disc which serves to mask a light exit aperture of a reflector housing and which is retained on the latter by a fastening frame and which is braced toward the depth of the reflector housing only by the reflector housing. The reflector housing yields at least in a bracing region in case of a collision and clears the path for a yielding plunging of the diffuser disc into a reflector housing cavity without the fastening frame being prejudicially deformed.

A seat-contact switch for generating a 'seat occupied' signal is combined into a compact constructional unit with an axially resilient actuating device, which extends in a straight line between the seat suspension and the seat frame and which automatically compensates for elastic and permanent deformation or settling phenomena of the seat suspension resulting in a reduction of its unloaded length and which utilizes an adjusting screw connected between the seat and seat frame which screw causes adjustment of the point of make-break contact for the 'seat occupied' signal.

An auxiliary brake light for motor vehicles which consists of a socket mounted securely on the hat storage shelf and of a light housing pivotally mounted on the socket toward the rear window; the auxiliary brake light includes means for sealing the light exit surface with respect to the rear window for preventing stray light; the light housing is displaceably and pivotally connected with the socket by way of bolts engaging in guide channels and at least one springy tongue projects from the socket which is adapted to be connected with the light housing in a detent-like manner.

The invention relates to a control unit which comprises one or more switches and is capable of integration into a trim component installed inside the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. The control unit is designed in such a manner that, after fitting the trim which accommodates it, a baseplate can be fixed to the trim, the baseplate accommodating the bases of all the control elements intended for the control unit.
