A mill classifier, particularly a roller mill classifier, has a strip rotor and a concentrically arranged guide vane ring with flow-optimized guide vanes and flow channels for a parallel incoming and outgoing flow without constriction or with widening and a diffuser effect. The flow-optimized guide vanes with an incident flow tube with vertical rotation axis and at least one guide plate are arranged adjustably for a tangential to radial incident flow of the strip rotor.

Roller mill

The invention relates to a mill classifier or sifter, particularly a roller mill classifier, which is suitable as a high-performance classifier for a roller pan mill or a roller mill, e.g. for an air-swept mill. In order to achieve in the case of a particularly simple construction a high flexibility and optimization of the classifying processes as a function of the particular needs, there is a combination of a static distributor formed from several adjustable guide blade rings and a ledge rotor as the dynamic classifier. In order to achieve a multiple classifying and in particular a reduction of the coarse material fraction prior to dynamic classifying, in the vicinity of the static distributor is provided a deflecting device in an area of the classifier cover, through which the disadvantageous effects of a 90.degree. deflection are largely avoided.

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for crushing material of different grain sizes, particularly an air-swept mill. From the method standpoint there is a regulation of the fluid feed flow in the vicinity of a blade ring and with adjustable reinforcing cladding segments, so that grinding material particle flows are moved in a flow envelope, particularly in a hyperboloid torus. From the apparatus standpoint, stationary and adjustable reinforcing cladding segments are arranged as a function of the grinding rollers rolling on a grinding pan. Using adjusting devices, acting on connecting areas of the reinforcing cladding segments, it is possible to bring about a horizontal or radial adjustment and/or an inclination adjustment of the reinforcing cladding segments for regulating the fluid feed flow from the outside and in continuous manner during a crushing process.

Method and apparatus for crushing material of different grain size

An air-swept mill has an annular space with a blade ring between a rotary grinding pan and a casing wall for fluid delivery flow. The annular space and the blade ring form a gas directing or guiding device for rotary flow and circulation flow of the fluid delivery flow. Above the grinding pan, in the vicinity of a classifier, the casing wall is provided with at least one removal device for removing a part of an outer oversize flow, which is formed as a vented concentrated flow substantially directly at the casing wall.

Air-swept mill

A grinding roller for roller or rolling mills, and its method for manufacture. For inexpensive manufacture and for increasing the service life, accompanied by limited repair expenditure, a roller jacket is manufactured in one piece for mounting on a radially inner roller body. The roller jacket has rated breaking points, along which the roller jacket breaks with radially directed breaking faces in the event of a corresponding stressing. By means of a holding device both the roller jacket manufactured in one piece and the optionally formed roller jacket breaking segments are fixed in an operationally safe manner.

Grinding roller

The invention relates to an air flow rolling mill for comminuting hard minerals such as slag or cement clinker. The discontinuities in operation occurring with high fineness levels are overcome in that with the grinding rollers are associated compression rollers for making the grinding bed uniform.

Air flow rolling mill

The invention relates to a grinding surface of rolling mills and specifically to the grinding surface of grinding rollers and a grinding path. As the hitherto known solutions have been considered inadequate for increasing the surface life of grinding surfaces, use is now made of ceramic segments as a wear-preventing cladding and they are also fixed against dynamic stressing forces on the body or basic shell.

Grinding surface of rolling mills

A roll mill, more specially for coal, has a turning pan and a number of rolls running thereon for producing a milling effect. Each roll is supported on a rocker arm, able to be turned about a horizontal axis which is roughly tangential to the pan. The rocker arm and the roll on it are forced down against the pan by a hydraulic cylinder joined with a fork which, in turn, is joined with the rocker arm for turning it about the turnpin. The fork may be unjoined from the rocker arm for upkeep work on the roll. Each rocker arm has a gas-tight cover structure which is part of the casing of the mill.

Roll mill for milling coal

The specification describes a roller mill comprising a rotary grinding pan and grinding rollers adapted to roll on this grinding pan and which are journalled stationarily though with a provision for vertical pivoting. In accordance with the invention the grinding pan is supported by a plurality of hydrostatic axial individual bearings, which are arranged substantially symmetrically with respect to the grinding pan and take up all vertical loads. There are also provided a plurality of hydrostatic radial bearings arranged substantially symmetrically around the periphery of the grinding pan to guide and take up radial forces on the grinding pan.

A roller mill of the sort with a pan turning about an upright axis, a driving system under the pan and rocking levers, pushing rollers against the pan, has a roller weighting system made up of a hydraulic cylinder, pulling the levers together, and joined with an air accumulator. The cylinder is turningly supported near its center of gravity in one of the levers.
