Aspects described herein relate to a conformal wearable battery (CWB) and/or a system that includes plural battery cells. The CWB and/or system includes a flexible printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). The plurality of battery cells are arranged in a pattern on a same side of the flexible PCBA. One or more examples of the flexible PCBA include cutouts and electrical connection pads. A battery cell is connected to an electrical connection pad via electrically conductive elements, such as tabs. In one or more examples, the electrically conductive elements extend through the cutouts in the flexible PCBA. In other examples, the electrically conductive elements wrap around an edge of the flexible PCBA.

Conformal wearable battery and system

A molded housing of a conformal wearable battery (CWB) encloses an electronic component and include an electrically conductive contact component embedded within an exterior wall to conduct electricity between an interior and an exterior of the casing. A flexible printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) for a conformal wearable battery (CWB) is enclosed in a cavity within the molded housing and includes attachment sections for a plurality of battery cells that are arranged in a grid-like pattern on a same side of the flexible PCBA. A visco-elastic shock-absorbing member installed between the upper and lower portion of the flexible PCBA when configured in a folded configuration. Each battery cell is joined to the flexible PCBA via a welding process. Each battery cell has a visco-elastic shock-absorbing member attached individually to each battery cell of the plurality of battery cells. When folded to fit within the cavity of the molded housing, the flexible PCBA forms a three-dimensional grid of physical components comprising at least the battery cell modules.

Electrical contact

A molded housing may enclose an electronic component and include an electrically conductive contact component embedded within an exterior wall to conduct electricity between an interior and an exterior of the casing. The contact component may include two knurled areas separated by a recessed groove. The knurled areas and recessed groove may be coplanar with the exterior wall. The knurled areas and recessed groove may form an interface with the molded casing to seal the casing against ingress of liquid into the interior. The molded casing may include an upper housing and a lower housing formed from a combination of a rigid member and a flexible member. The rigid member may have a plurality of rigid regions, and the flexible member may have a plurality of flexible regions formed between neighboring rigid regions. The flexible member may be molded onto the rigid member using a two-shot injection molding process. In some examples, the contact component may be secured to a contact carrier, where the contact carrier is then secured to the exterior housing.

Housing for a conformal wearable battery

A themed stool that includes a seat, a mainframe component supporting the seat, an inner shaft disposed within the mainframe component, a lower shaft that receives the inner shaft, and a removable base to the lower shaft. The themed stool also includes a mounting bracket assembly that removably attached a three dimensional ornamental figure, a silhouette of a themed figure, or a decorative graphic to the mainframe component of the stool. The mounting bracket assembly can also be removably attached to any stool. The mounting bracket assembly includes a mounting bracket removably attached to one of the three dimensional ornamental figure and the silhouette of a themed figure and at least one attachment bracket that removably attaches the mounting bracket assembly to the shaft of any stool.

Themed stool

A disinfecting apparatus for cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing a wide variety of devices used by medical personnel, law enforcement and correctional facilities, body art establishments, and the like, comprises a top portion, an upper portion that includes a main tank, and a lower portion that includes a water pump and reservoir tank. The water pump conveys the disinfectant solution from the main tank through a filter to the piping system that delivers the disinfectant solution to the plurality of jets that dispense the disinfectant solution to the devices held on a removable holding device within the interior chamber. The devices are then further sanitized and sterilized by a blower and UV-C light exposure.

Card cages for mounting an array of electronic modules are provided for. The card cage comprises a plurality of generally rectangular shaped panels, including a top panel, a bottom panel, a back panel, and two side panels. The panels are adapted for assembly into a generally right-rectangular prism shaped frame having a closed back and an open front and defining one or more module mounting areas. The card cage also comprises guides adapted to slidably receive one or more electronic modules having electrical connectors. The guides are provided on at least one panel defining each mounting area. The back panel has electrical connectors adapted to engage the electrical connectors of the electronic modules. The top, bottom, and side panels are interlockable. Those interlockable panels are fabricated from a single sheet of metal and have a plurality of integral interlocking members. The interlocking members collectively constitute a plurality of associated pairs of tongues and openings. The openings are adapted to interlock with their associated tongues. The interlocked members are interlocked by translating the interlockable panels in a first direction relative to each other such that the tongues are inserted through their associated openings and by subsequently translating the interlockable panels in a second direction relative to each other such that the tongues and openings cooperate to preclude translation of the interlockable panels in the first relative direction. The interlocking members thereby support the interlockable panels relative to each other.
