A system for providing vehicle function guidance and test-driving experience based on augmented reality content according to an embodiment includes: an augmented reality terminal for executing a vehicle description application realizing a vehicle function guidance or test-driving experience providing service on the basis of augmented reality content; a window display device provided on at least two windows including the front side of a vehicle and displaying the augmented reality content; a vehicle speaker for outputting audio according to the augmented reality content; a virtual driving device for providing haptic including predetermined vibration or tilting in the vehicle; and a test-driving experience service providing server for controlling the window display device, the vehicle speaker or the virtual driving device in connection with the vehicle description application.

Image sensors include a second photoelectric conversion device disposed in a lower portion of a substrate and a first photoelectric conversion device extending between the secondary photoelectric conversion device and a light receiving surface of the substrate. Electrical isolation between the first and second photoelectric conversion devices is provided by a photoelectron barrier, which may be an optically transparent electrically insulating material. MOS transistors may be utilized to transfer photoelectrons generated within the first and second photoelectric conversion devices to a floating diffusion region within the image sensor. These transistors may represent one example of means for transferring photoelectrons generated in the first and second photoelectric conversion devices to a floating diffusion region in the substrate, in response to first and second gating signals, respectively. The first and second gating signals may be active during non-overlapping time intervals.

An image pickup device may include a sensor array including a plurality of pixels and an actuator operatively connected to the sensor array. The actuator may be configured to sequentially move the sensor array, in a horizontal or vertical direction by one pixel pitch, in response to a control signal. A method of processing image signals using an image pickup device may include moving the plurality of pixels by the one pixel pitch using the actuator in order to allow multiple pixels to be sequentially located at a position on which light is incident, and sequentially detecting color component signals of each of the multiple pixels from the incident light.

A perpendicular magnetic recording medium is provided. The perpendicular magnetic recording medium includes: a perpendicular magnetic recording layer formed on a substrate; and at least one soft magnetic under-layer formed between the substrate and the perpendicular magnetic recording layer, wherein the soft magnetic under-layer is made from an alloy of a non-magnetic material and a magnetic material which exists in the form of granular nanoparticles in matrix of the non-magnetic material, and at least two of the magnetic nanoparticles are spaced apart from one another by a predetermined distance so as to mutually make an anti-ferromagnetic coupling.

A technique for reading speech mail or text E-mail stored in a computer by an external telephone uses an apparatus which includes: a text to speech converting service function, a speech sensing function, an E-mail managing function, and an E-mail down-loading function. The apparatus may use software which includes a program for calling the E-mail client of a computer by one of a public telephone, a cellular phone, and a portable computer having a speed phone capability, gaining access to the received E-mail, converting text E-mail into speech mail, and transmitting it to a receiver through a telephone line. Also, a computer periodically detects an E-mail server during the absence of a user and, when it is determined that there is received E-mail as a result of detecting the E-mail server, down-loads the E-mail and stores it in the computer. When urgent E-mail is received, the computer calls a receiver and informs him or her that urgent E-mail has arrived or transmits the urgent E-mail to the remote receiver. It is possible to detect only speech mail among the received E-mail in the E-mail server and to detect all the E-mail including text E-mail. Therefore, when the detected E-mail is text E-mail, the E-mail is converted into speech mail and transmitted.
