A headrest for a vehicle with improved collision performance includes: a headrest stay provided integrally with a seat back and exposed at an upper end of the seat back; a blower connected to the headrest stay; and a rotation direction change member installed between the headrest stay and the blower, connecting the headrest stay and the blower, and configured to allow a rotation direction of the headrest stay and a rotation direction of the blower to be opposite to each other in an event of a rear collision.

A device and a method for automatically restoring a seatback is provided in which a seatback is electrically deployed at a predetermined angle by being interlocked when a seat of a vehicle is moved to a predetermined position to facilitate a passenger to get into and out of the vehicle. The device includes a seat cushion, a seatback installed in the seat cushion to be adjustable in angle, a seat rail, and a seat track slidably installed in the seat rail. A seat position detection sensor detects a position of the seat track and a seat position detection member operates the seat position detection sensor. A seatback angle adjustment motor adjusts an angle of the seatback. When the seat position detection sensor detects that the seat track reaches a predetermined operating position, the seatback angle adjustment motor deploys the seatback.

A system for controlling a seat of a vehicle includes a relax mode to ensure ride quality to a passenger seated on a rear seat and sequentially drive respective electrically-powered portions of the rear seat to positions to secure the ride quality, a monitor mode to sequentially drive the respective electrically-powered portions of the rear seat so as to view a monitor apparatus primarily attached to a rear surface of a front seat, a reading mode to sequentially drive the respective electrically-powered portion of the rear seat so as to allow the passenger to perform reading by using a lighting lamp attached to a rear seat region, and a return mode to sequentially drive the respective electrically-powered portions of the front seat and the rear seat to positions just before moving the front seat and the rear seat to predetermined standard portions or the positions of the respective modes.

A locking structure for an armrest is provided to be pivotable to a folded up or a pulled down position. The locking structure includes a locking pin disposed at a fixed position and a catch pivotably coupled to a fixing bracket in an armrest housing, and has an engaging portion formed at a side thereof so that the locking pin enters the engaging portion, and a projection and a recess are formed to be spaced apart from the engaging portion. A latch is coupled to the fixing bracket and has a protruding portion formed at one side of the latch. A knob rotates the latch and when the armrest housing rotates upward, the catch rotates while the locking pin enters the engaging portion to lock rotation of the armrest housing. When the latch is, the locking pin is withdrawn from the catch, to permit the rotation of the armrest housing.
