A light emitting display device includes a display panel, a structure for short detection, and a short detecting unit. The display panel displays an image. The structure for short detection includes a first power line, a second power line, and a short detection line disposed between the first power line and the second power line in the display panel. The short detecting unit senses a sensing value from the short detection line and determines whether a short occurs in the display panel on the basis of the sensing value.

A display device includes: a substrate, a semiconductor layer on the substrate, a gate insulating pattern on the semiconductor layer, a plurality of gate electrodes on the gate insulating pattern, and a thin-film transistor spaced apart from the gate insulating pattern, the thin-film transistor including: a source electrode contacting the top surface of the semiconductor layer, a source-drain electrode adjacent to the source electrode, a first of the plurality of gate electrodes being between the source-drain electrode and the source electrode, and a drain electrode adjacent to the source-drain electrode, a second of the plurality of gate electrodes being between the drain electrode and the source-drain electrode.

Display device and method for manufacturing the same

Discussed is an organic light emitting display device that may include a first pixel on a substrate; a switching transistor with a first active layer provided inside the first pixel; a driving transistor with a second active layer provided inside the first pixel; a first light shielding layer overlapping the second active layer; and a second light shielding layer overlapping the first active layer, wherein the first light shielding layer is connected with the driving transistor, and the second light shielding layer is electrically insulated from the first light shielding layer.

Disclosed is an organic light emitting display device. The organic light emitting display device includes a display panel, a plurality of first flexible circuit films, a plurality of first driving ICs, a plurality of second flexible circuit films, and a plurality of second driving ICs. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels including a pixel circuit connected to a gate line, a data line, and a high-level voltage line. The first flexible circuit films are connected to a first pad part of the display panel, and supply a high-level voltage to the high-level voltage line. The second flexible circuit films are connected to a second pad part of the display panel, and supply the low-level voltage to a cathode electrode layer.
