The present disclosure discloses a backlight module and a display device. The light emission direction of at least one of the lamp source and the fluorescent film is provided with a diffusely reflecting layer. The diffusely reflecting layer arranged above the lamp source diffusely reflects pump light emitted from the lamp source, which may enhance uniformity of the pump light. The diffusely reflecting layer arranged above the fluorescent film scatters light emitted from the fluorescent film, scatters the light and distributes the light to a larger range, which may improve light mixing uniformity and improve the uniformity of light emission brightness.

Backlight module and display device

A direct backlight module is disclosed, and includes: a substrate having a driving circuit layer; multiple blue LED chips disposed on the substrate, and the multiple blue LED chips are electrically connected to the driving circuit layer; an optical conversion layer covered on the multiple blue LED chips, wherein the optical conversion layer includes a colloidal material, multiple phosphor particles and multiple haze particles disposed in the colloidal material, the optical conversion layer converts a blue light emitted from the multiple blue LED chips into a white light; and a transparent dielectric layer and a metal grating layer sequentially formed on the optical conversion layer. A liquid crystal display device is also disclosed. The direct backlight module can reduce the thickness of the liquid crystal device, which is beneficial to realize a thin and narrow-frame liquid crystal display device.

Direct backlight module and liquid crystal display device

The present disclosure provides backlight module and display module. The backlight module may include: a display module and a backlight module, the backlight module is configured to face to the display module, the display module may include a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; the display module comprising a display region and a non-display region, at least one side of the second substrate extends along the non-display region and is bent below the backlight module so as to cover a portion of the backlight module.

Disclosed is a backlight test circuit including N circuit blocks. Each circuit block includes M mini-LED circuits, and each mini-LED circuit includes L mini-LEDs and a switching circuit. The L mini-LEDs are connected in parallel or in serial as a mini-LED set. The switching circuit controls the turning on and the turning off of the mini-LED set according to a control signal. N, M and L are positive integers. During a backlight test, in each circuit block, at least one of the mini-LED sets is turned on. By using this backlight test circuit, the abnormal mini-LED circuit can be found. Thus, a producer can only execute a rework process for the abnormal mini-LED circuit without extra cost.

Backlight test circuit, backlight test method and backlight module using the same

A display device is provided in the disclosure. A color filter substrate of a liquid crystal display panel has a quantum rod light-emitting layer disposed thereon, which includes a plurality of separation members arranged in a form of array and a quantum rod material manufactured in the separation members. The beneficial effects are that the display device has the quantum rod light-emitting layer with polarization ability disposed on an external surface of the liquid crystal display panel, and by a combination of excitation of the quantum rod, polarization property of fluorescence spectroscopy, and ability of the liquid crystal to change polarization, a liquid crystal television having high brightness and high color gamut can be carried out.

The present disclosure provides a controlling method of a display device and the display device. The controlling method may include: detecting whether the display device is at the beginning of the touch panel scanning or during the touch panel scanning; and stopping at least one signal/current scanning operation which is different from the display scanning within the display device if at the beginning of the touch panel scanning or during the touch panel scanning. The present disclosure firstly detects the scanning states of the display device, and stops other scanning operations different from the display scanning when the display device performs the touch panel scanning, which can prevent the display device from being affected by other scar ling operations during the touch panel scanning, thus ensuring the normal operation of the touch panel.

Controlling method of display device and display device

A light valve device includes a driving substrate having a shading zone and a photic zone. A shading unit includes a first shading plate, two driving devices, and second shading plates respectively connected to the two driving devices. The driving devices and the first shading plate are fixed in the shading zone adjacent to the driving substrate. The first shading plate is between the two driving devices. The driving devices are operable to drive the two second shading plates close to the first shading plate to make the second shading plates face the photic zone of the driving substrate for preventing light entering the driving substrate. By locating the light valve device under the sub pixel, the dynamic contrast can be raised to promote the display effect.

The nanoimprint template can not only protect the photoresist microstructure therein, but also prevent the nanoimprint template from being deformed during operating, thereby improving the process quality. Moreover, the surface oil resistance and corrosion resistance of the nanoimprint template is improved, so that the surface has lower surface energy, which can effectively improve the degumming problem during operating. A manufacturing method of the nanoimprint template and the application thereof in manufacturing a microstructure substrate are also provided, the microstructure size and shape of the formed microstructure substrate can be ensured.

The module includes an upper substrate, a lower substrate disposed oppositely, multiple blue phase liquid crystal molecules disposed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate, multiple upper common electrodes disposed in parallel and spaced at intervals on the upper substrate, multiple lower common electrodes disposed in parallel and spaced at intervals on the lower substrate, wherein the lower common electrodes are staggered with the upper common electrodes, and a pixel electrode disposed on the lower substrate, wherein, the pixel electrode is a hollow concave-convex structure, the pixel electrode has alternating projections and depressions such that multiple oblique electric fields are generated among the pixel electrode, the upper common electrodes and the lower common electrodes in order to drive the blue phase liquid crystal molecules.

Blue phase liquid crystal display module, blue phase liquid crystal display device and manufacturing method for the same

The present disclosure relates to a display panel and the polarizer thereof. The polarizer includes a dielectric layer and a wire grid structure array arranged on the dielectric layer. Each of the wire grid structures includes three first wire grid units and a second wire grid unit. The first wire grid units and the second wire grid unit respectively include a plurality of wire grids spaced apart from each other. By configuring the grid-spaces and the duty cycle ratio of the first wire grid unit and the second wire grid unit corresponding to the R sub-pixel, the G sub-pixel, the B sub-pixel, and the W sub-pixel, the white CIE composited by the R sub-pixel, the G sub-pixel, and the B sub-pixel and the white CIE of the W sub-pixel may be matched so as to enhance the white-point drifting issue of the display device.

Display panels and polarizers thereof

The present disclosure relates to a display device and a color filter. The color filter includes a dielectric layer and wire grid structures on the dielectric layer, each of the wire grid structures includes a first wire grid unit, a second wire grid unit, a third wire grid unit, and a fourth wire grid unit. The first wire grid unit, the second wire grid unit, the third wire grid unit, and the fourth wire grid unit respectively includes a plurality of wire grids spaced apart from each other. Grid-spaces of the first wire grid unit, the second wire grid unit, the third wire grid unit, and the fourth wire grid unit are different. With such configuration, the white CIE composited by the R sub-pixel, the G sub-pixel, and the B sub-pixel may be matched with the white CIE of the W sub-pixel.

Display devices and the color filters thereof

The present invention provides a reflective liquid crystal display device, which includes an upper substrate and a lower substrate that are opposite to each other, a liquid crystal layer arranged between the upper and lower substrates, a transparent plastic layer bonded to a surface of the lower substrate that is distant from the liquid crystal layer, and a mirror-reflection layer that is attached by the transparent plastic layer to the surface of the lower substrate. The transparent plastic material of the transparent plastic layer for attaching the mirror-reflection layer contains therein transparent particles and the transparent plastic material and the transparent particles have different reflectivity so as to provide an effect of diffuse reflection. Namely, the transparent plastic layer and the mirror-reflection layer are combined together to provide a diffuse-reflection layer, so that compared to the conventional reflective liquid crystal display devices, there is no need to conduct an additional process for forming a diffuse-reflection layer, thereby simplifying the manufacturing of the diffuse-reflection layer and reducing the difficulty and cost of the manufacturing.

A color filter and a manufacturing method thereof, as well as a liquid crystal display panel are disclosed. The color filter comprises a color resistance layer, a flat layer, and a first black matrix, wherein the flat layer is coated on the color resistance layer, and the first black matrix is arranged in the flat layer. According to the present disclosure, the critical angle of the color shift phenomenon of the color filter can be increased effectively, and thus the color shift phenomenon of the liquid crystal display panel under wide viewing angles can be alleviated.

By adopting different EOTFs for low and high grayscale intervals, the method considers the poor dark state characteristics of LCD and characteristics of RGBW LCD having higher maximum luminance, and improves the display capability of RGBW LCD in details of high grayscale images.

Luminance adjustment method for RGBW LCD and apparatus thereof

An LCD includes a backlight module, an array substrate, and a color filter layer. The color filter layer includes a first filter unit, a second filter unit and a black matrix unit. A transmittance rate of the second filter unit is larger than that of the first filter unit. The black matrix layer is connected between the first filter unit and second filter unit. The width of the black matrix unit is larger than that of the third black matrix unit. The width of the black matrix unit facing the first filter unit is larger than that of the black matrix unit facing the second filter unit. This kind of asymmetrical black matrix layer not only best prevents lowering the pixel aperture ratio, but also improves color shift of images when light goes through pixels of low transmittance as pixels of high transmittance are turned off.
