The processor may be configured to determine a location of the electronic device for a body based on a signal transmitted or received with the at least one external device through the communication module in response to sensing the biometric signal, to determine a posture of the electronic device based on information obtained through the second sensor, to determine a measurement posture based on the location and the posture of the electronic device, and to provide a guide to correspond the measurement posture to a predetermined reference posture.
