A scroll compressor is provided that may include an orbiting scroll, a non-orbiting scroll, a back pressure chamber assembly, a back pressure passage, and a flow resistance portion. The back pressure passage may provide communication between a compression chamber and a back pressure chamber, and the flow resistance portion may be disposed at a middle portion of the back pressure passage to reduce an amount of refrigerant flowing through the back pressure passage. This may reduce a substantial cross-sectional area of the back pressure passage while improving machining of the back pressure passage, thereby decreasing an amount of refrigerant flowing between the compression chamber and the back pressure chamber. Accordingly, pressure pulsation in the back pressure chamber may be lowered and sealing stability between the orbiting scroll and the non-orbiting scroll may be enhanced, thereby improving compression performance.

A scroll compressor may include a back pressure passage that provides communication between a compression chamber and a back pressure chamber to guide refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber partially to the back pressure chamber. The back pressure passage may communicate with the compression chamber through a front end surface of a non-orbiting wrap axially facing an orbiting end plate. Accordingly, when an orbiting scroll tilts, the non-orbiting wrap may be spaced apart from the orbiting end plate to open a scroll back pressure hole, such that the compression chamber and the back pressure chamber communicate with each other to quickly vary pressure in the back pressure chamber to be adaptive to the pressure of the compression chamber. This may result in appropriately adjusting back pressure in the back pressure chamber according to an operating mode and/or operating conditions, thereby increasing a sealing power and suppressing or preventing excessive contact.

A scroll compressor is disclosed. The scroll compressor may include an oil supply hole penetrating from an oil passage to an outer circumferential surface of a rotating shaft, and an oil supply groove communicating with the oil supply hole and formed along the outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft. The oil supply groove may be provided in plurality axially spaced apart by a preset distance. This can prevent the oil supply groove from invading an oil film section and increase centrifugal force against oil in the oil supply groove, thereby suppressing friction loss and wear between a main frame and the rotating shaft.

In a scroll compressor, a discharge chamber is provided in an inner space of a back pressure chamber inner wall, a discharge port is provided inside the discharge chamber, a bypass hole is provided around the discharge port, and a communicating recess portion allowing the discharge chamber to communicate with the bypass hole is provided on an inner circumferential surface of the back pressure chamber inner wall forming the discharge chamber. Through this, the bypass hole may be easily configured in addition to the discharge port, thereby increasing an operation range of the compressor and suppressing overcompression.

A scroll compressor includes a discharge guide disposed in a high-pressure part to guide refrigerant discharged from a compression part to a refrigerant discharge pipe, and the discharge guide may extend by a preset height from an inner circumferential surface of a casing constituting the high-pressure part toward one side surface of a high and low pressure separation plate. This can guide discharge refrigerant discharged to the high-pressure part to quickly flow to the refrigerant discharge pipe before being spread in an entire space of the high-pressure part, thereby preventing the high and low pressure separation plate from being overheated by discharge refrigerant of high temperature. This can result in preventing suction refrigerant of a low-pressure part from being heated by heat of discharge refrigerant transferred through the high and low pressure separation plate, thereby reducing a specific volume of the suction refrigerant and improving compressor efficiency.

A motor operated compressor according to the present embodiment may include a main housing; an electric motor unit; a rotation shaft; a fixed scroll coupled to an inner space of the main housing; an orbiting scroll provided that performs an orbiting movement with respect to the fixed scroll; a rear housing provided on an opposite side to the fixed scroll with the orbiting scroll therebetween and coupled to the main housing, and disposed with a first space to communicate with a discharge side of the compression chamber; and a first sealing portion provided to surround the first space to form a second space on an outer edge of the first space, wherein the second space includes a first region and a second region in fluid communication with each other. Accordingly, a horizontal motor operated compressor in which a frame and a fixed scroll are integrated may be provided.
