A manufacturing method of a display device includes forming a first droplet on a first region of a substrate by nozzles, moving the nozzles onto a second region of the substrate spaced apart in a first direction from the first region, forming a second droplet on the second region, calculating a first distance between the first and second droplets, moving the nozzles onto a third region of the substrate spaced apart in a direction opposite to the first direction from the second region, forming a third droplet on the third region, moving the nozzles onto a fourth region of the substrate spaced apart in the first direction from the third region, forming a fourth droplet on the fourth region, calculating a second distance between the third and the fourth droplets, and calculating a jetting velocity of each of the nozzles based on the first distance and the second distance.

An apparatus for manufacturing a display device includes: a stage configured to hold a substrate; a movement unit configured to move relative to the stage; a head unit arranged on the movement unit and including a nozzle for discharging a liquid droplet onto the substrate; and a sensor unit configured to emit a laser to irradiate the liquid droplet falling from the head unit to the substrate to sense a portion of a planar shape of the liquid droplet. The apparatus is configured to control the movement unit or the head unit based on the sensed portion of the planar shape.

A droplet measurement method is described. The droplet measurement method may include discharging a droplet on a substrate, scanning the droplet by moving a scanning unit, and calculating a volume of the droplet by using the thicknesses of the portions of the droplet. The scanning unit may include optical scanners arranged in multiple directions, storing thicknesses of portions of the droplet scanned by the scanning unit.

An inkjet printer apparatus includes a printing head including a plurality of nozzles for printing an ink in a plurality of pixels arranged as a matrix type in a target substrate, a control circuit which moves the printing head in an x-direction crossing an y-direction of a scan direction, and determines an optimal position for using largest nozzles, and a driving part which moves the printing head to the optimal position and moves the printing head along the y-direction in the optimal position.
