The present invention relates to a method for producing a medium chain diamine and, more specifically, to a method for producing a medium chain diamine from an alcohol or alkane derived from a fatty acid, by culturing a recombinant microorganism from which a fatty aldehyde dehydrogenase gene in a &#x3c9;-oxidative metabolic pathway and a &#x3b2;-oxidative metabolic pathway related gene have been deleted, and also into which a &#x3c9;-transaminase gene has been introduced. The recombinant microorganism disclosed in the present invention can prevent the additional oxidation and &#x3b2;-oxidation metabolism of fatty aldehyde and can produce a medium chain diamine with a high yield by introducing an amine group to the terminus thereof.

Method for producing medium chain diamine

The present invention relates to a method for producing medium chain diol and, more particularly to recombinant microorganisms in which fatty alcohol dehydrogenase and/or fatty alcohol oxidase genes on a &#x3c9;-oxidative metabolism pathway are deleted, the fatty aldehyde dehydrogenase genes are optionally deleted, and &#x3b2;-oxidative metabolism pathway-related genes are deleted, and to a method for producing medium chain diol from fatty acid-derived alcohol or alkane by culturing the recombinant microorganisms. The recombinant microorganisms of the present invention can produce a high yield of medium chain diol by preventing further oxidation and &#x3b2;-oxidative metabolism of fatty alcohols.

Method for producing medium chain diol

Disclosed herein are a-derived auto-inducible NPS promoter; a recombinant expression vector carrying the promoter and a nucleotide sequence, the sequence being operably linked to the promoter and coding for a recombinant protein; a host cell transformed or transfected with the recombinant expression vector; and a method for producing a recombinant protein, comprising culturing the host cell to express the recombinant protein and isolating the protein. The NPS promoter allows a recombinant protein of interest to be produced on a large scale without the need of any inducer.

Disclosed are a-derived translation elongation factor (TEF) promoter, a recombinant expression vector carrying the promoter and a heterologous protein encoding base sequence operably linked to the promoter, and a host cell transfected or transformed with the recombinant expression vector. Also, a method is provided for producing a heterologous protein. The method comprises culturing the host cell to express the-derived TEF promoter and isolating the promoter from the culture. The TEF promoter can be utilized for the mass production of heterologous proteins without the need for inducers.
