A PMDC motor has a housing, a stator magnet disposed in an interior of the housing, and a rotor core disposed within the stator magnet. A ratio of an outer diameter of the rotor core to the outer diameter of the housing is from 0.60 to 0.67. The noise of the motor during operation is reduced by increasing the thickness of the stator magnet, reducing the outer diameter of the rotor core, reducing the air gap between the magnet and the rotor core and reducing the rotational inertia of the rotor core. The motor is particularly suited for use in vehicle HVAC systems where low noise is an important requirement.

An end cap assembly for an electric motor has a brush assembly, a circuit board, an inductor and a grounded metal element. The brush assembly has a plurality of brushes. The circuit board is fixed relative to the brush assembly. The inductor is electrically connected to the circuit board. The grounded metal element is positioned between the brushes and the inductor to absorb high frequency electromagnetic radiation transmitted from the brushes to the inductor.

End cap assembly for suppressing electromagnetic interference and motor having the same

A motor has a stator, a rotor, an end cover assembly installed on an axial end of the stator and the rotor. The rotor includes a shaft. The end cap assembly includes an end cap, a cover, and a circuit board arranged between the cover and the stator. At least one electronic element is mounted on the circuit board. The shaft passes through a hole in the cover. The cover and the shaft are made of a conductive material. With such structure damage to the circuit board and the electronic element due to high-voltage static electricity is avoided.

Electric motor having a protection structure for electronic components

A microwave filter includes a strip transmission line and a filtering assembly connected to the strip transmission line. The transmission line has an input terminal and an output terminal. The filtering assembly includes a strip first primary branch connected directly to a first connection point of the transmission line. The first primary branch includes a first body portion and a first bent portion at a first end of the first body portion, where the first bent portion is connected directly to the first connection point, and the first body portion is substantially parallel to a body portion of the transmission line. With the microwave filter incorporated in an electric motor, the impedance curve of the transmission line can be matched with a high-frequency EMI curve, and therefore the filtering effect is enhanced, EMI is suppressed and the EMC level improved.

Microwave filter

An electric motor includes a stator and a rotor installed in the stator. The stator has a laminated stator core and at least two stator windings wound on the stator core. The stator core has at least two stator poles facing the rotor and at least two yokes connecting adjacent stator poles. T stator core is constituted by at least two separate members joined together. The at least two stator poles are only arranged at a single one of the at least two separate members.

Electric motor

An electric motor includes a stator, a rotor and an end cap. The stator includes a housing and magnets attached to an inner surface of the housing. The housing has an open end closed by the end cap. The rotor includes a shaft, an armature and a commutator fixed to the shaft. The end cap includes a cover case, a support plate integrally formed in the cover case, brushes, a bearing and a printed circuit board mounted in the cover case. The support plate divides the interior space of the cover case into a first cavity and a second cavity. The brushes are mounted in the first cavity, the bearing is mounted on the support plate, and the printed circuit board is mounted in the second cavity.

A permanent magnet motor has a stator and a rotor rotatably mounted to the stator. The stator has a housing with n side portions and n connecting portions distributed alternately, wherein n is a integer equal to or greater than 3. Adjacent side portions are interconnected by one of the connecting portions. The radial cross section of each side portion is a convex curved line which is curved outwardly relative to a straight line passing through the two ends of the convex curve line. Permanent magnets are fixed to an inner surface of the housing. An end cap fixed to one end of the housing, has a bottom and n side walls extending from the bottom. A flat mounting surface is formed at the outer surface of a first one of the side walls.

Permanent magnet motor

A PMDC motor, particularly for driving an automobile liftgate, comprises a stator and a rotor rotatably mounted to the stator. The stator comprises a housing and an end cap mounted to one end of the housing. The end cap comprises: a first brush, a second brush, a first terminal, a second terminal, a first choke connected in series with the first brush and the first terminal, a second choke connected in series with the second brush and the second terminal, an overcurrent protection component connected in series with the second brush, and a set of capacitors. Each of the chokes comprises an inductor core extending axially and a winding wound about the inductor core.
