Examples described herein provide a computer-implemented method for identifying regression test failures that includes comparing a base code to a new code to locate an updated aspect of a program. The method further includes inserting debug code into corresponding source files for each of the base code and the new code for the updated aspect. The method further includes building a first image for the base code and a second image for the new code, the first and second images running in respective first and second containers. The method further includes comparing debugging outputs from a regression test of the respective first and second containers to identify a regression test failure. The method further includes implementing a corrective action to correct the regression test failure.

Identifying regression test failures

Aspects of the invention include systems and methods configured to efficiently evaluate the efforts of a code migration (e.g., porting task) between different platforms. A non-limiting example computer-implemented method includes receiving a function of a source platform. The function can include a plurality of fields. An initial vector is constructed for each of the plurality of fields. The initial vector encodes a value of the respective field according to an encoding rule. The initial vectors are merged into a single final vector and the final vector is classified into one of a plurality of system function families of the source platform. A vector of a target platform at a minimum distance to the final vector is identified and an assessment is provided that includes a difficulty in porting a project comprising the function between the source platform and the target platform based at least in part on the minimum distance.

Fast porting of projects

Aspects include generating a matrix based on a first sample of source code. Each cell in the matrix can correspond to a unique element in the source code. Each unique element can be encoded to a predetermined value according to an encoding rule. A first waveform is generated by combining a left-side curve and a right-side curve. The left-side curve encodes a first position of non-zero cells in each row of the matrix and the right-side curve encodes a last position of non-zero cells in each row of the matrix. A second sample of source code is identified that matches the first sample of source code based on a comparison of the first waveform to a second waveform constructed from the second sample of source code.

Shape-based code comparisons

An example operation may include one or more of receiving a plurality of transactions by an agent node, selecting, by the agent node, transactions from the plurality of the transactions that are the most likely to be conflicting based on common factors, combining, by the agent node, the selected transactions into a batch, and reordering the selected transactions within the batch to increase a success rate.

A computer-implemented method includes detecting that a first script has been modified to an updated script and that the first script is currently running. A data key point is selected from among a set of data key points available in the first script. At the selected data key point in the first script, a current state of the first script is saved in a storage object external from the first script, responsive to detecting that the first script has been modified. An execution point is selected in the updated script. The current state of the first script is loaded into the updated script. The updated script is run from the execution point, with the current state of the first script.

Continuing a running script after modification

Various embodiments are provided for automatically generating a container image by a processor. Service runtime information associated with an operating system (OS) may be detect and collected. The collected service runtime information may be validated. A container having the collected service runtime information may be created. A container image may be generated according to the container. The container image may be updated upon detecting a change to the service runtime information.

Examples of techniques for quick response (QR) code deformation are described herein. An aspect includes receiving a first QR code, wherein the first QR code is scannable by a QR code scanner at a first range of angles. Another aspect includes determining a scanner angle, the scanner angle being outside of the first range of angles. Another aspect includes generating a second QR code based on the first QR code and the scanner angle, wherein the second QR code comprises a deformed QR code that is scannable by the QR code scanner at a second range of angles that is distinct from the first range of angles.

A computer-implemented method includes determining a set of parameters defining an arrangement of a plurality of copies of a standard barcode in two or more of layers of a layered barcode encoding subject data. The layered barcode has a plurality of cells, and for each cell in the layered barcode, a combined value for the cell is determined, where the combined value of the cell indicates a respective value of each layer at the cell, and the combined value is mapped to a color corresponding to the combined value. The plurality of layers of the layered barcode are generated, such that, at each cell of the plurality of cells, the layered barcode includes the color corresponding to the combined value of the cell.

An attack defense method and device, which relate to the communications field and effectively defend against a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) denial of service (DoS) attack behavior. The method includes after a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) connection to a client is established, the attack defense device receives a key negotiation request message sent by the client; when a session monitoring table of the client exists, the attack defense device determines whether a session identity exists in the session monitoring table of the client; when the session identity does not exist, the attack defense device records the session identity into the session monitoring table, and determines whether a quantity of session identities of the client is greater than a first preset value; and when the quantity of session identities of the client is greater than the first preset value, disconnects the TCP connection.

In an example method of configuring an adaptive module for an offline charging system, a selection is received which selects one of a plurality of charging functions. In an example, the selection is received in response to a user prompt. In another example, the plurality of charging functions includes a charging data function (CDF), a charging gateway function (CGF), an integrated CDF/CGF without Ga interface support and an integrated CDF/CGF with Ga interface support. An adaptive module is configured to conform with the selected charging function. The adaptive module has the capacity to conform to any one of the plurality of charging functions. For example, the adaptive module includes a number of program modules and the configuring step selects which of the program modules are enabled and an order in which the enabled program modules are to be executed. The configured adaptive module is executed at a physical entity (e.g., a CDF, a CGF, etc.) within the offline charging system.

In an example method of correlating charging data records within an offline charging system, each of a plurality of sources selects a same one of a plurality of charging functions in which to route charging information associated with a given call session or event. In an example, the plurality of sources corresponds to either a plurality of network elements or a plurality of charging data functions. In another example, the plurality of charging functions corresponds to either a plurality of charging data functions or a plurality of charging gateway functions. At the selected charging function, the routed charging information is correlated.
