An AC motor with a reduction mechanism is disclosed. The AC motor has a stator unit, a rotor unit, and a reduction transmission unit. An axial space of the AC motor can be substantially reduced by providing the reduction transmission unit directly built in the AC motor, and a path of the power transmission between the rotor unit and an output shaft can be reduced, so that the loss of the mechanical energy can be lowered.

A geared motor includes a rotor mounted rotatably to a motor housing and having an output shaft along a rotating axis, and a stator secured to the motor housing to surround the rotor. The stator has a plurality of angularly displaced core segments with wall areas confronting magnetic pole units on the rotor, and a plurality of windings wound respectively around the core segments to create a torque so as to drive the output shaft. A planetary gear assembly includes a sun wheel mounted on the output shaft, an annulus secured to the motor housing and having an internally toothed annular surface, and a planet wheel meshing with the toothed surface and the sun wheel. A rotary member is rotated by a speed reduction drive transmitted from the planet wheel about a transmitting axis aligned with the rotating axis.

Geared motor with planetary gear assembly

A mechanical transmission module has two plates, a transmission mechanism and an actuating axle. The two plates are mounted together with a gap formed between the plates. The transmission mechanism is mounted between the plates. The transmission mechanism can be a Geneva mechanism, a worm and gear mechanism, a belt drive assembly, a threaded rod and slide mechanism, a geared mechanism and so on. The actuating axle extends out from the two plates and drives the transmission mechanism. A connector is secured to a free end of the actuating axle. The connector has a groove and a protrusion in the external face to engage with the groove and protrusion on the connector of another mechanical transmission module. Accordingly, the transmission mechanisms can be modularized and combined with each other. The combination and transmission relations between different types of transmission mechanisms are easily be understood through use of the modules.

Mechanical transmission module

A general type press system with variable-speed slider-crank mechanism driven by a servomotor which can be used for various types of press work by providing various corresponding input speed trajectories. The press includes a frame, a linkage-mechanism with a crank as its input and a slider as its output, and a servomotor. The servomotor is used for driving the crank of the linkage-mechanism. The output motion of the press, i.e., the ram's motion, is accomplished by the slider of the mechanism. The speed of the servomotor is controlled by a micro-computer or a personal computer equipped with a digital signal processor (DSP). This computer supports a number of speed functions for different types of press work to obtain optimal processing results. Because the existing traditional linkage press can also be upgraded to a multi-purpose press, the disclosed press is an innovative design with the advantages of flexibility and practicability.

A dual transmission including a fixed gear ratio planetary gear mechanism, a belt transmission mechanism capable of continuously changing speed ratio, at least one clutch, and a lock, wherein the engine power of the motorcycle is transmitted through the planetary gear mechanism to the power output shaft for a fixed gear ratio transmission, and then controlled by the clutch and the lock to be transmitted to the power output shaft in the two routes, respectively, through the planetary gear transmission mechanism and the power-split continuously variable transmission mechanism.

Dual transmission for motorcycles

An automatic tool changer in a machining center includes a reducer, a compound cam, a cylindric cam, a four-bar mechanism, an elliptic trammel mechanism, and a tool changer device. The compound cam and the cylindric cam are driven by a motor after speed reduction through a belt and gear train. The compound cam which is composed of a roller gear cam and a face cam performs the tool change motions. During the tool change motions, the cylindric cam drives the follower which is fixed on the slider of the elliptic trammel mechanism to make the other slider push the pull bar which produces the pushing and pulling tool motions in the spindle head. By way of using this design, the tool change time is largely reduced, the tool change motions are smoother, and the cost is less expensive than the previous designs.

The present invention is related to an automatic tool-changing mechanism adapted to be used in a machining center and including a power source, a machine frame and an automatic tool changing device secured to the machine frame, wherein the automatic tool changing device includes a tool changer secured to the machine frame for functioning in tool-grasping, tool-extracting, tool-interchanging, tool-inserting and tool-returning motions; a rotating device secured to a driving shaft and coupled to the tool changer and a swing arm device, the rotating device including a first and second rotating elements in which the first rotating element is used for enabling a to-and-fro swing motion of the swing arm device and the second rotating element is used for enabling a to-and-fro rotary motion of the tool changer to perform the tool-grasping, tool-interchanging and tool-returning motions; and the swing arm device having an intermediate portion thereof pivotally coupled to the machine frame and a first end portion and a second end portion thereof pivotally coupled to the first rotating element and the tool changer, respectively, so as to swing to and fro stably in response to an operation of the first rotating element to facilitate the tool-extracting and tool-inserting motions of the tool changer. The present invention has less mechanical elements compared to the conventional mechanism so that the assembling time can be reduced. In addition, the present invention can effectively lower the rocking of the tool-changing arm upon swinging so as to enhance the positioning precision.

Automatic tool-changing mechanism

The creation of the present invention is a transmission system, including an output shaft for outputting an output power; a stepped speed transmission device for steppedly speed-changing said output shaft having in a first instance a relatively lower rpm; a stepless speed transmission device for steplessly speed-changing said output shaft having in a second instance a relatively higher rpm; and a clutch device, connected to said stepped speed transmission device and said stepless speed transmission device for switching therebetween.

Transmission system

A variable pitch lead transmission mechanism includes a slider, a screw rod having a screw thread and two opposite screw thread surfaces and mounted on the slider, a driver contacting with one of the screw thread surfaces and adapted to be translated by a power source in order to in turn rotate the screw rod, and an elastic element mounted between the screw rod and the driver for providing a buffering action therebetween. Preferably, the buffer effect of the elastic element automatically accommodates the spin angle .beta. of the driving base and the contact locations between the driver and the screw thread surface so as to avoid therebetween an adversely expanded clearance.

An apparatus for controlling the motion of a weft insertion member in shuttleless looms, the apparatus includes: a triple-threaded variable pitch cylindrical cam, adapted to be secured to the weft insertion member; and a slider, which contains three roller seats to receive six frustoconical rollers, in which the six frustoconical rollers are divided into three groups, each group has two frustoconical rollers, each group of two frustoconical rollers is rotatably received by one roller seat and is located between two adjacent threads of the triple-threaded variable pitch cylindrical cam with different one of the two frustoconical rollers contacting different one of the two adjacent threads so that each thread of the triple-threaded variable pitch cylindrical cam is in mating engagement with two frustoconical rollers from two different groups of the three groups of two frustoconical rollers.

Variable pitch cyclindrical cam mechanism for controlling the motion of

A mechanism controls the motion of the weft insertion member in shuttleless looms. This mechanism comprises a double-threaded variable pitch cylindrical cam and a slider having two pairs of frustoconical rollers. Each pair of frustoconical rollers is mounted on a thread of the variable pitch cylindrical cam. In operation, the cylindrical cam is able to rotate in a reciprocating manner by moving the slider in a rectilinear reciprocating manner. The mechanism is characterized in that the semi-conical angle of each frustoconical roller is formed such that the profile of the two threads of the variable pitch cam screw is easy to design and manufacture. In particular, the plane formed by the axes of each pair of frustoconical rollers is inclined at a predetermined angle in relation to the plane perpendicular to the axis of the variable pitch cylindrical cam and the predetermined angle is such that the thickness of each thread of the variable pitch cam screw is near constant, and uniform strength of each thread is obtained.

A cutter exchanging apparatus includes a cam mechanism mounted on a driving shaft of the apparatus. The cam mechanism includes a cylindrical roller and a plate attached together. The cylindrical roller has a first and second end, and an endless recessed cam groove that includes an upper circumferential recessed cam groove formed adjacent to the first end, a lower circumferential recessed cam groove formed adjacent to the second end and two transition gradually curved cam groove, each connected to each of two free ends of the upper and lower circumferential recessed cam groove. The plate has a recessed groove that includes a starting point formed adjacent to the center point of rotation of the plate and an ending point. The recessed groove includes a first section that has a predetermined distance increasing in diameter with respect to the center of rotation of the plate beginning from the starting point to a first point in the recessed cam groove and a second section that has another distance decreasing in diameter from the center of rotation of the plate beginning from the first point to the ending point.
