In a self-propelled construction machine or mining machine, in particular milling machine for working a ground surface, including a machine frame, a working device for working the ground surface, which is supported on the machine frame, wherein the working device is at least partially enclosed by a housing, at least one movable side plate, which closes the housing on at least one of the two sides of the working device , wherein the movable side plate rests on the ground surface in floating position during the working operation, it is provided that a clearing scraper is arranged in front of the at least one movable side plate as seen in the direction of travel, wherein the clearing scraper comprises at least one clearing edge for penetrating ground material lying on the ground surface in front of the movable side plate, and clears the ground material for the movable side plate so that the movable side plate may rest on the ground surface.

Self-propelled construction machine or mining machine

A texturing machine is provided for the subsequent treatment of a freshly produced concrete layer having a width between left and right edges and extending longitudinally in a working direction. Left and right height sensors are arranged to detect a height above the freshly produced concrete adjacent the left and right edges of the layer. At least one crown height sensor is arranged to detect a height above a crown of the freshly produced concrete layer. A controller is configured to receive input signals from the height sensors and to communicate height control sensors to the height adjustable columns and to communicate a crown control system to the crown actuator. A direction sensor may also detect at least one of the edges of the freshly produced concrete layer. The controller may receive a direction input signal from the direction sensor, and the controller may communicate a direction control signal to a steering actuator of one of the ground engaging units of the machine.

Concrete texturing machine

A texturing machine is provided for the subsequent treatment of a freshly produced concrete layer. Left and right height sensors are arranged to detect a height above the freshly produced concrete adjacent the left and right edges of the layer. At least one crown height sensor is arranged to detect a height above a crown of the freshly produced concrete layer. A controller is configured to receive input signals from the height sensors and to communicate height control sensors to the height adjustable columns and to communicate a crown control system to the crown actuator. A direction sensor may also detect at least one of the edges of the freshly produced concrete layer. The controller may communicate a direction control signal to a steering actuator of one of the ground engaging units of the machine.

In a texture curing machine for the subsequent treatment of freshly produced concrete layers of a predetermined width, in particular concrete roadways extending longitudinally in the direction of travel, comprising a machine frame supported by ground-engaging units, with no less than one texturing device movable transverse to the working direction for applying a texture, by means of multiple texturing tools, into the not yet hardened surface of the concrete layer, and with a controller unit for adjusting the travelling speed in the direction of travel, it is provided for the following features to be achieved: the controller unit captures the travelling speed and/or the traversing speed of the texturing device and, during forward or reverse travel, controls the travelling speed and/or the traversing speed of the texturing device in transverse direction in accordance with a specified texturing angle, with the texturing angle ensuing from the relation of the speeds.

Texture curing machine as well as method for the subsequent treatment of a freshly produced concrete layer

Texture curing machine for the subsequent treatment of freshly produced concrete layers, in particular concrete pavements, of a specified width, comprising a machine frame supported by ground-engaging units, where working devices are attached at the machine frame in a stationary fashion or movable transverse to the working direction, and the working devices comprise texturing devices for applying a texture into the not yet hardened surface of the concrete layer and/or spraying devices for discharging a curing agent, said working devices acting on the concrete layer in longitudinal direction or in transverse direction to the working direction, it is provided for the following features to be achieved: that the working devices for applying either a texture or a curing agent comprise both a working device acting in longitudinal direction and stationary in operation and a working device movable to and fro across the width of the concrete layer, where each is alternately transferable from a resting position into an operating position in which the working devices do not collide with one another.

In a slipform paver with a tractor including a machine frame with longitudinal members and telescopable cross members, the machine frame comprises a central frame module in which the cross members are supported in a telescopable fashion. A mold adjustable to the working width comprises at least one permanent central mold element fixed relative to the central frame module and at least one permanent outer mold element movable relative to the central frame module. The permanent outer mold element is permanently attached to one of the cross members and/or one of the longitudinal members and the outer mold element is movable together with the cross member and/or the longitudinal member during the adjustment of the working width of the machine frame.

Slipform paver, as well as method for adjusting the width of a mold device

Slip-form paver

A device for smoothing a concrete paving surface including a machine frame that defines a predetermined working width perpendicular to a predetermined direction of travel of the machine frame, and a carriage system for moving the machine frame in the predetermined direction of travel. The device also includes a transverse smoothing portion carried by the machine frame for smoothing concrete paving across the predetermined working width that has two transverse structures with adjacent ends and remote ends and an articulating portion for connecting together the adjacent ends of the transverse structures. The device further includes a longitudinal smoothing portion for effecting longitudinal smoothing of concrete paving, and a moving portion for moving the longitudinal smoothing portion along the transverse structures over the entirety of the predetermined working width.
